As a former expat resident I experienced many sunsets on the seafront in Kadikoy. One of my favorite places in Turkey for photography is the rocky coastline of the Aegean sea. So beautiful with its turquoise water.

Great video. I will be traveling soon and this is great inspiration to do something similar to document the trip.

Great video Hashem! Something you may have unintentionally showcased as well is the Zeiss lenses you have and their ability to resist any kind of flare! Absolutely wild!

great shots.. Definitely not the typical hipster Leica or Film camera user. What area you enjoyed the most for street shooting?

Thank you! I quite enjoyed Fatih, and also areas on the Asian side of the Bosphorus such as Uskudar (although I wish I had more time there!)

Hi Hashim, nice video and great photos really enjoyed it. I have one question though, how did u manage to travel with the film rolls i mean at the airport scans and x rays, heard these machines destroy the film rolls. I want to take my film cameras and shoot film and develop them once i am back but hesitant of this. Now i see you with all these film stocks and got them back home gives me hope. Thanks in advance 🙏🏽

I am from Istanbul and honestly, I don't like how you show Istanbul as a ''Arabic City'' with all the women with Hijab. There are millions of women with no Hijab in this city. Istanbul is not about mosques and religion. You should visit Arnavutköy, Bebek, Moda, Çukurcuma, Samatya, Balat
@elif-py1gt2 жыл бұрын
i’m a turk and think he did a good job obviously most tourists are going to be seeing things in fatih where there are a lot of women wearing the headscarf but he also shows secular areas like karakoy and kadikoy which many tourists wouldn’t even normally go to in istanbul.
@GKhanKutar2 жыл бұрын
@@elif-py1gt secular areas? Turkey is a secular country. There is no “non-secular” area. Just people. Istanbul is not all about Fatih. Shooting Hijab woman is just a cliche. Like Hollywood does. They are trying to show Turkey like a Arabic state too. And We Turks Hate That.
