As a Duck fan it wouldn't surprise me if the game went something like this. Either team could win. I do believe that Oregon will be in better shape as far as players go next time, but Ohio State may be also. Turnovers, penalties, flub plays, and great plays will all make a difference. Right now, I do believe that these are the two best teams in the country. Alabama is coming on, and even Notre Dame is playing well, but Ohio State and Oregon are the two best teams. By the way, have you OSU fans noticed how the Big 10 is represented in the rankings? Oh yah, Ducks over the Bucks. LOL. Take care.

That was surprisingly enjoyable to watch even though I play CFB 25. However, if OSU does rematch there’s just NO way OSU can: A) not run the ball effectively and B) let Oregon get those chunk plays again and expect to win. I strongly believe that OSU’s run game will need to be very strong down the stretch to win the title. Like close as possible to 200yds a game strong. But, yeah, for Oregon OSU just cannot afford to let the pass game get off like that again. Bring the pressure.

Ohio State will beat them in the Big 10 Championship, and then again, if necessary in the playoffs, as well! Oregon was fortunate that things went their way, at home the first time, and still should have lost, if Lanning didn’t pull that stunt at the end, which used up valuable seconds, to prevent Ohio State from kicking the game winning field goal! We have become as physical and powerful to go toe to toe with Ohio state. We won by one point but it would have been more than one if we would have made that blocked field goal and if we would have made that 4th down play in the red zone. All the miss opportunities in the red zone that my Oregon did not succeed on turning into points adds up to 9 points. So we could have beat Ohio state by more than 1. @@Tiger14728lol, Oregon left more.points on the field than Ohio state in that game, and Ohio State was favored the first time. Your point is moot, because the game actually has to be played again (in the real world) to determine a winner. It's clear that the talent level on both sides are fairly even (even though D.Burke gor destroyed by Gabriel in game one, 🤭). The greatest exception, in games like these, is obviously the QB position which usually plays the largest factor, because it's the one position that distributes the plays/ball. I'll take Gabriel's decision making over Howard's every-single-time...based on game one, and based on their overall careers. Also, being favored is way overrated, especially when it's basically only going to be a coin flip. 🤷‍♂️

Should OSU rematch and play and beat Oregon, that week will seem like a distant memory.
