Nearly 50 years ago, I was taking my friends car to be worked on, seems he's quite well known for street racing, at the stop light someone came along side and revved their engine to race. The light changed, and boom, he was gone, the cop behind me was too. As I passed them I rolled down the window, and smiled. My friend told me later that, that the guy, and he had raced many times, and the guy never won. Not a real surprise, as the shop I was taking it to build some fast street cars.

it always makes me sad when i see the guy destroying the buildings. In the full story he really was getting fucked over by his boss, and this guy just snapped. You never know how close someone is to the end of their rope, and not getting his paycheck put him over the edge. He threw his whole life away because of his mental breakdown. You never know how close someone is to snapping.

Shopping Cart Madness==Most of the Pros are Former SKATERS!! Skaters know how to fall gracefully. Atleast enough to not get head injuries.. ~My Town tried to force my daughter (&me) to wear a helmet in 2014 when we skated teh Local Double Sided Curb.. I told them she knows how to fall(She was 6 and it was 100% truth) She wears one on mini ramps. btw.. ~Fast Forward to last winter and the whole neighborhood was black-iced and kids were acting out & falling everywhere. and hitting their heads.. I see my 10th grade daughter quick dash and slide 35 feet & 1/2 way do a 180 and slide Fakie(backwards) for the rest. Even if she slammed she wouldn't hit her head. She doesn't skate anymo and got in & out safely. woot... She thanked me last year for the grace & balance skating gave her... She quit i didn't & i turned 50 couple months ago.. GenX ftw!
