This makes me happy! I have straighter curlier hair and I have been wanting locs for years. My hair is 4 inches above my waist. I always have people tell me it would be difficult to do locs but this seems more practical.

No cap the straighter the texture the easier it is bigger parts cause it takes more to loc so it takes longer time

I’m on the fence. My kid has straighter hair like that and wants locs. I can start them, but don’t want to cut the loose hairs. It might just have to be “grinch fingers” for us lol 😆. I love the parting and overall look, so cute ☺️.

OMG you made it look so easy. I have ALWys Wanted locs. If you have relaxed hair, with natural new growth,can you still do this technique without cutting the relaxed hair off? EVERYTIME I ask someone about getting locs, they always say... You have to cut the relaxer out your hair first. And I have long hair so I don't want to do that. I want my locs to start off the length my hair is now. Please please please answer to my comment bcuz I REALLY want these locs ASAP if possible. Hell...
