Instant Dreadlocks/locs

This is the video that introduced instant locs to the loc industry. Instant dreadlocks was not available until this. All the wave of crocheting locs and loc extensions, all the fad of instant locs and the entire loc movement started here.
Instant locs is a starter loc method but crocheting locs can be done at any stage on your loc journey.

It induces ASMR. Look it up. Some pple voices trigger it( like His in the video), others are triggered by soft sounds like that guy that use to paint on T.v.. The white guy painter with that Afro hair......he relaxes me. Look up ASMR pencil drawing , crinkle paper ( sometimes annoying tho), ASMR makeup. Its soooo many different ones. It's kinda weird....but I swear that stuff cures insomnia.

Lakisha Edwards Hi. They can be achieved without crocheting. They can be twisted with a comb to the end completely. Depending on the initial length it can be palm rolled (I preferred in one direction, I’ve sen back and forth on established locs) and set under a dryer. They unravel/ loosen but after a series of restyling over time, begin to lock and hold. They’re beautiful when done correctly or well. Hope that helps.🙏🏾

Thanks you helped my do my Sisters hair. I love that she has instant locs now. My first try was using someone else’s video and they came out really fat and a couple of them unraveled. I tried again using your method and they came out perfectly! Thanks for the tip on finishing the loc off, now she doesn’t have the straight tips. They look like even the ends are locked too! I always wanted to repair locs for my clients, i started doing locs in mid 2016 and realised that many people had locs that needed repairing coz some clients had locs that were weak mid lengths or at the top and were about to fall off. I didn’t know how to repair them and still leave them looking great until i came across your video. This really came in handy and i practiced first on kinky extensions until i mastered the art of it then transferred it to my clients. This took everything to another level in that through this technique, of using the crotchet needle on locs, i met someone very very special and dear to my heart. I can’t thank you enough for your kind heart to have shared your skill and talent with the world. God bless you abundantly. I also locked my hair personally because of mastering this technique and people look at my locs looking so neat and wonder who did it for me. My oldest grandson started his locs a few months ago and I retwisted them yesterday, and I'm starting locs on my youngest today. I just tried the interlock on the older locs and it came out perfect he was so pleased with how neat it looked. I'm definitely doing this with the new locs for the youngest. Thank you so much. I think I'm ready to start my own as well.

Thank you so much Kris, I just finished installing my instant locs, and I'm totally in love with em. I have 4c hair and I was afraid that I would have got too much shrinkage, but I lost about 1.5 cm of lenght. I'm going too attempt locking my boyfriend's hair as well, even if his hair is a looser texture. Greetings from Italy!
