Thank you so much for sharing this! Please convert more of your recipes to instant pot/pressure cooker. Also, you just line up the arrows on your instant pot lid and the pot to get the lid on!

I’ll try to make more, I promise! Those arrows get me every time!!! 😂

Hi! Can i check if this can be frozen as meal prep if i use coconut milk? And how long will they be good for?
@MOMables Жыл бұрын
Yes, you can use coconut milk in this recipe. You can freeze leftovers for up to 3 months! Enjoy.

If you have the 8 qt do you double the recipe and the chicken broth? Also do you adjust the timing or will it be the same as the 6 qt? I’m new to this. Not to many recipes for the 8 qt.
@MOMables2 жыл бұрын
I think if you double the recipe it will fit in an 8qt for sure. There's plenty of room. Same cooking time.

How would you use frozen chicken for this?
@MOMables Жыл бұрын
I would thaw it first with one of the methods here kzbin.info/www/bejne/n2HHk6SOobqBgpIsi=ynNd8BwMAJoaA90r because adding it frozen will add extra liquid and not the right consistency.

Quick question - After cooking as explained in the video, is it ok If you leave it on Stay Warm function for a few hours afterwards? Would it turn the chicken breast tough?
@MOMables2 жыл бұрын
Great question. You can and it won't turn it tough. It slow cooks it longer. The only thin gis that leaving it for hours in the warm function your potatoes break down.

Would it work to use cornstarch instead of half and half?
@MOMables Жыл бұрын
I haven't tried it yet, but you can definitely use coconut milk instead of half and half.

I never open the vent, I think it's better to let it de pressurize naturally. Let the flavors meld more, also i think the lid is easier to clean after the fact. Living in Japanour dishwasher is super small and you can't fit the lid in it.

Great tip, glad that works best for you!

It’s more like chicken soup than stew. I think I would add a little bit of flour to thicken it up.
