What a well-presented and useful review, actually the best review I've seen. You show things straightforwardly, in the right amount of detail for a cook, and the information on cleaning is also very good. You've helped me decide to buy the Instant Pot. We have gas and electricity costs rocketing up in Europe right now, and I've been looking for a cost-effective alternative to my large range cooker which takes over half an hour to come to temperature. The Instant Pot will be an excellent alternative.

I read it thoroughly and if I followed 'Instant Pot's instructions ' to the letter. Somebody would have ruined their AirFryer-! So Big Hugs to you, for this 'to the point'- introduction. Hi there, Anita. Very helpful. And thank you for not playing distracting music. I bought my iPot on Amazon UK. It did not include the quick chart of times for pressure cooking or the cooking guide. Where can a copy of each be obtained please? Also, my pot insert has a cooked in oil layer. Any cleaning tips or would pressure cooking with vinegar (and/or bicarbonate of soda) clean that away too? Thank you. I’ve learnt more in a few minutes than months of viewing the app. Looking forward to more content. Sandra

I usually put a whole chicken (with a salt crust) in a pan in the oven for 50 minutes and it cooke perfectly with super crispy and delicous skin. I'm struggling to see how this was more convenient and certainly isn't faster. Glad to see this demo, though, as it has helped me to decide if I want one or not.

I received this as a gift because my air fryer crapped out on me. I wanted a new one and I’ve never had a pressure cooker. The 2/1 in nice but I HATE how small the air fry basket is. For the price of this and a little more, I could have gotten a pressure cooker and a separate air fryer with a much bigger basket.

Same here! I had bought Duo Nova Plus and after opening I changed my mind and went back to the shop to change for the air fryer model 6qt. But when I saw pots inside pot I got disappointed.

@@androsRoccha I tried to make brats the fist time in the basket (so good) but you can barely fit 5 in the tiny basket. So I tried the next time just in the pot because apparently you can, but they just stuck the bottom and burned a little more then I liked. I may just get a new air fryer with a bigger basket and only use this as an instapot.

Hi, it’s generally 6 to 7 minutes per pound. My 5.5lb whole chicken was cooked in 25 minutes on high with a 10 minute release and roasting at 400 degrees for 14 minutes with air fryer lid. Hope that helps 😀
