Thank you for this recipe. I made this in the past, but your recipe is the best I've made. Got some sofrito from my sister!! I like the use of the tumeric cause I didn't like that the sazon has MSG. The store Goya sofrito also has MSG. Thanks for offering the recipe.

You’re welcome! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I live using turmeric too 🤗 so reduce the use of msg. Fresh sofrito is the best!!! There’s a new sofrito I have gotten that has no msg and it tastes so much like the real deal the brand is La Royana, and it comes in a transparent plastic bowl sold I. The frozen section 🙂

Yeah, I have been finding stores that sell brands other than Goya, and many others don't include msg in their sofrito or sazon

Thank you! It’s really delicious! Definitely give it a try and let me know how you like it 🤗 the Worcestershire sauce I put it on the meat before browning it, it’s not necessary though. I just always use it when I’m making beef😁

This looks delicious! I normally make my carne guisade on the stove pero me coje muchas horas. I saw Target has this instapot (6qt) on sale this week for $59 and was considering getting one. Do you think it is worth the investment? Is it big enough for a family of 5?

Well I absolutely love mine! I honestly can make anything in it. I use it at least 3-4 times a week. I make my arroz con gandules in there, I use it in slow cooker mode on Sundays, I even experimented and figured I it how to make arroz con dulce! It comes out perfect! I even did a video on that. But yes I definitely believe is well worth it! And that’s an awesome price! And yes that size is what I use so it’s a good size for your family 🤗

Great question! If you have SAZON go ahead and add a little packet of that awesomeness. Typically, I would use sazon🤗 but I have to limit using it because Sazon has msg and that triggers my husband’s migraines, so if I add it to the food he usually can only have a very limited amount.
