INSTANT POT RIO WIDE PLUS LONDON BROIL

In this video I will be trying out a new recipe in the Instant Pot Rio Wide Plus.
The recipe that I used is London Broil in Instant Pot from: www.everydayfamilycooking.com...
I mainly used the procedures and not the ingredients suggested. I used my own marinade that I like for beef and did not include mushrooms. I don't know if I stressed it enough in the video but the London Broil came out FABULOUS!

Thanks to my husband for being able to execute my idea on a spice shelf with hanging bar. I decided I wanted to utilize the space on that wall better and that was my idea in the making.

i mean since you're pressure cooking it, you're kind of giving it like a super braise, almost like a pot roast. i think this would also be great with flank steak or flat iron even. i do love london broil though, that's the cut i always had growing up and it's one of my all time favorites. love the channel!

Thank you! I am really enjoying trying out new recipes in the Instant Pot Rio Wide Plus. I am super impressed. This is the first Instant Pot that I have ever owned but I did have a Ninja Foodi but it was just too large and bulky.

@@myhobbyhome9255 i think this is a great way to cook a london broil, because it is a leaner cut and it also really can use that marinade.

Awe thank you Faith. The London Broil is a more affordable piece of meat and turns out delicious in the Instant Pot. I will never put it on the grill again. I am so glad you are enjoying my content. I like to show a little bit of everything in the home.

I know London Broil isn't the most tender cut of meat to begin with but that didn't look like it was medium rare to me and unless your knife was extremely dull it looked like it was very tough to cut also, so I'll just have to accept your word that it was tender and juicy. But I am interested in getting an Instant Pot Wide and I do enjoy your honest videos and recipes. So keep them coming.

Did you notice that I looked at my knife? I think it might be a bit dull and I agree it seemed more done than medium rare to me but I might have seared it a little too long (so thinking it might have been my error). The meat was so tender and very juicy and definitely worth a try. I cook this at least once a week because I have plenty left over to have a bite of when I come in from work during the week. Previously it was done on the grill but now I do it in the Instant Pot. I don't always use a recipe that makes the gravy though.
