RJ - real quick on the “What does Sampson do” argument.. not saying it changes the final outcome of the game but it’s absolutely asinine to imply not having the SEC Offensive PotY didn’t change things. Sampson helps with time of possession, flow control, and probably keeps at least one of the 16 (exaggeration) 3 and outs from happening, which gives the defense some rest. Not having Sampson fundamentally changed the entire game.

Sampson carries - 258 for 1,491 yds Nico - 109 for 358 yds Bishop - 74 for 455 yds Lewis - 64 for 339 yards Bishop/Lewis rarely played significant minutes all year. When the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th highest rushers totals only equal 77% of Sampson’s production, not a good formula if he’s gone. Especially against an elite defense that no longer has to respect the run and can tee off on a freshman QB who had lost his #1 and #3 WRs. Again, not saying it changes the outcome but it sure as hell isn’t 42-17 at the final.

False. The TE we have that can run routes and catch get the ball get touches. See stover from last season and he didn't have this guys hands. An elite TE is just really rare. This guy looks good enough to get targets. Could easily see 50 catches in our offense.
