I have followed OSU football since 1961. I don't remember being this poor in the kicking game. During the Woody Hayes years, Ernie Godfrey was the best kicking coach in the country. Remember how good Mike Nugent was. It is mind boggling that we could have gotten the outstanding kicker down the road at Miami University. I think he went to Alabama. Our special teams for several years now has been weak at best.

Keep in mind, Williams Dixon was recruited here as a cb. We put him at rb cause we needed him there initially. Maybe they move him back to cb since we lost out on Offord

Really big mistake not going after justice haynes harder I truly believe that's going to bite this coaching staff in the @!* especially if TTUN gets him 😢 that was one they truly needed much better than the WV back it shows up on the field especially since we can't develop offensive line like we use to need a very talented back with his speed power and vision for the lack of development up front as this position coach appears to display if Ryan day can't see the error with the line issues by now he never will. Granted seth has been a huge help this year but he was not really developed by Justin Frye let's remember that and offensively coaches have had to call plays and scheme for the weakness of the OL we need a better OL coach honestly but since he's a part of the buddy system with day and chip he won't be going anywhere unfortunately.

Thurman can't catch a cold. 2 of Howard's INTs were balls that hit THURMAN in the hands and he bobbled it, which turned into an INT. Plus, he just doesn't have the frame to be a blocker. Gee is just not consistent. He'll make a great catch, and the next series, drop a ball that hits his hands. TE is definitely an area of need.
