Bill would be fantastic talking ball! Forget about the oppositional defiant post-game nonsense, he would be must watch as a broadcaster in the same way Madden was. Working into your 70's is not the same thing as competing into your 70's. We used to be a step ahead of everyone in the NFL and now it seems like we are a couple of steps behind. Bill could probably still coach, but he would have to get humble and relinquish power to front office staff and offensive staff. Would he be willing to do that?

I find the poetic quality of this game to be remarkable. First, you have Bill Belichick at the end of his tenure in New England losing to the team that he resigned from to begin his tenure at New England. Second, you have Bill going out in a snow game...in Foxborough...which contrasted completely to that Snow Bowl game against the Raiders...in Foxborough...which heralded his rise to greatness and that of the Patriots (nod to Brady's huge part in that). The mood and atmosphere of the Raiders snow game and the mood of this game were complete opposites. And one final detail: the Belichick era rose with a backup quarterback...and ended with a backup quarterback.

I really hope he gets the mental health help that he needs to manage his depression so that he can go on and leave a healthy and happy life regardless of his coaching career. I wish him the Best of Luck! It was just really sad watching his post game press conference. I hope he chooses to move on to another team like Dallas or Chargers that already have the team ready and just need a strong Head Coach. He deserves to end his career smiling just like Tom Brady did when he posted on social media, "Guys, i'm retiring for good this time, i wanna thank all of you, my friends, my team-mates, my competitors, thank you for allowing me to live my Dream!" That was a classy way to go out because TB12 had come to Peace with his decision and left the Game on His own terms. Thanks Bill for the 6 Superbowls! well the two of the most memorable moments at the start of the dynasty also occurred in the loss today at the official end of the dynasty......1. It was the Jets game that TB12 first took over and never let go for the next 2 decades. Its fitting it was the Jets first win over the Pats near 3000days 2. The Raiders playoff game when the Pats players did the snow angel after the the game winning FG on way to the first SB...it was the Jets players doing the snow angel as they put the final dagger into the dynasty....die nasty. IThe biggest mistake Kraft has ever made was letting TB12 leave. He will never see another Championship game in his lifetime. Game Over.

And who forced Patricia and Judge on Jones? Whatever Mac's talent level is is irrelevant. It's very doubtful any QB would have thrived with those two coaching the offense. Even if you don't think that, the only reason those two were in those positions were Bill's ego and nepotism. It was not what was best for Jones, or the team, and everyone knew it from the start except Bill.

Fire Bill Belichick and go with Mayo who has never been a head coach, or Vrabel who went 6-11 this season despite having D Hop who everbody wanted this year and 7-10 last year, also lost the divisional round of the playoffs in 2021 and the wild card round the year before that. Fire the best coach for next to no improvement. Get rid of the best defensive coach because the offense sucks and bring in 2 other defensive minded coaches. Makes sense!
