Howdy, Aggie here. I really feel for you guys. I’m surprised Trev left y’all. From what I’m hearing, he’s a good AD, and I’m happy that he’s going to be our new AD, but I Nebraska is a school I respect and I enjoy watching on a Saturday. And I hate taking y’all’s AD. I hope y’all find someone who can fill the void that he left, and I hope y’all can get y’all’s leadership back in order.

Just think of tte fortune they have squandered and bo championships. You areon point to the question to the Board " WHAT THE F**K IS GOING ON??!" I've long admired Trev Alberts as a player, sports commentator, and AD. He seems to be a very smart, entrospective, & analytical person. Let me be clear, I have absolutely no facts as to why he's leaving. But he doesn't strike me as the type to chase money. If you take a job solely for money, it will soon reveal you took it for the wrong reason. People change either because they hate their current state or there's a crisis. It doesn't appear on the surface there's a crisis so, maybe he became disheartened with certain changes in the university's direction, core beliefs, and/or leadership vision. Whatever the case, I wish him & his family nothing but the best. As a 28 yr AF vet and another 14 yrs serving the AF as a civilian, I served during the AF Chief of Staff Gen Welsh era. I can say that Trev might be in for much more than he expects. Many who served during his regime see Welsh as the man who pussified the AF. He's a political animal and absolutey loves to hear himself talk. I could go on but, we'll see how it plays out. I think Trev was pressed into a decision and found himself choosing the new & unknown @ A&M over the what is and what's going to come @ NU. Eyes wide open.

This is sooo fishy... a former UNL football player becomes AD of his alma mater when the football team is seemingly at rock bottom, hires HIS new football coach with a chance to cement his legacy (again), Scoggin lawsuit emerges, leaves after only 2 years and 8 months on the job and after hiring Rhule 1 year and 3 months ago. I don't think it has anything to do with stadium rebuild fundraising because he was working on that for a while and he doesn't seem like the type to leave because of a challenge like that or regent relationships.
