There's a difference between having a million dollars in a bank account somewhere, and actually knowing it and receiving your access card.

Exactly, but it is not necessary only to know it but also be able to use it.

There is NO LIBERATION without the complete dissolution of ego with all its desires and tendencies. AWAKENING to our True Nature (CONSCIOUSNESS) isn't LIBERATION.

Short and sweet. But this only seems to reflect the experience "we" have after awakening, the experience of self-realization. It ignores the 7 billion people whose experience is one of limitation, constriction, ego, and suffering, with occasional peace or joys. I would like to see some nonduality teacher address both points of view and discuss how the perception of reality can transform from personal to universal. Is there no hope for the 7 billion of us for whom reality is not as described in this video? Is freedom only available to a small percentage of the human race, forever?

Obviously this 1:37 snippet addresses experience from the point of view of fruition rather than path. It doesn't mean that the speaker is "ignoring" those 7 billion people who suffer the limitations of ego clinging. I'm sure you can find many "non-duality teachers" who will discuss both points of view or rather the points of view of the basis, the path, and the fruition.

All in your Maya, nobody is there my man
@david2032 жыл бұрын
@@OfficialGOD Maya is the illusion of reality; it takes place entirely in consciousness. Consciousness is the one true and unchanging reality. Therefore your "nobody" is actually everybody, and more!

Then your question will go against Karma theory. You are trying to incorporate Saviour theory of Abhrahimic into Karma theory of Dharmic traditions.

@@FromPlanetZX I'm not familiar with any of these theories, so I didn't do anything bad deliberately.

He's the indian version of Tony Parsons. It's just nonsense because no less than Ramana Maharshi gave specific instructions on the need for Atma Vichara AKA Self Inquiry.

Swami Sarvapriyananda says elsewhere that practice (and time) is needed to achieve self-realization, which is freedom from the illusion of bondage and limitation. He is thus not like Jim Newman or Tony Parsons AT ALL. Furthermore, he knows and teaches the ancient spiritual knowledge of India, material that is virtually unknown to the pseudo-advaitins like Parsons. In this video he is giving the underlying truth, which is a great relief for the seeker. Instead of seeking a difficult transformation of the mind, we actually look forward to an effortless realization of what already is and has always been.
