The Shy, I also wonder the same, but I believe many of these laughter are maybe forced ones, to ease the embarrassment .. because if you notice in many fails they get up fast though some were hurt. I suspect women are more relax about it, and that make them utterly cute... having said that, I think it is the best way, because after all the alternative is worse in many level even to the person who is hurt. What I never understand is that many people laugh even at hurtful falls, I never see falling funny I rush to help and would love to be by their side when they do silly things just in case.. But even if one lack empathy etc, from Comedy or humor perspective 99% falls look all the same nothing funny about them at all , at least to some of us.. I always fast forward the segment when I see it coming, because it is hurtful to watch..

5:06 - Years ago (before anyone had a personal computer), we had "America's Funniest Home Videos". After a couple of seasons, the show started seeing a problem, that of people putting themselves in harms way, just to try to win $10,000 for their submission. In order to curtail this, they gave us (the viewing audience) a video construction 101. This was done, 1-) to clue us in what to look for and, 2-) to show those who might be thinking of submitting a video, that their ploy of setting up a video was likely to fail, and they wouldn't show them (protecting people from themselves. One of the biggest takeaways, for my anyway, was to ask, _"Why is this being recorded?"_ So, if there's a birthday party going on in the background, it's probably legit because that's a thing people haul their video-cameras out in order to record. Another would be if it was captured on a CCTV camera or something (that's another place weird videos are discovered. On the flip-side of that, however... Why is this man being recorded on his way back from the mailbox? This is a very unusual thing to record since - I'll bet that - in all of the thousands of trips he's made, performing this very, very mundane task... I can all but guarantee you that THIS is the very first time someone has ever thought to pick a camera up and document his "adventure". Then, after he throws down his paper and begins yelling at the car, for comedic effect, another car, with perfect - some would suggest, STAGED - timing gets him again, and hilarity ensues. I look for these moments in every "fail" video I watch now... I can't help it. So, in similar fashion, I felt I should pass this top secret recording lesson on to all of you, so that you too can learn how to spot the genuine moments, from the genuinely scripted and staged moments.

Doesnt mean it's staged. I would film my neighbor if he had an anger issue and this or something similar has happened before. A lot of people have someone they know or know of that lashes out or acts crazy and once you notice a pattern even daily tasks become a cue to rec. You just delete the videos that don't actually catch anything

I die on the inside every time I see windshields, garages or literally anything get broken or shattered. You know someone is paying for that and it is NOT cheap. One time while I was doing a delivery, I opened the door of my car while it was still on in front of someone’s garage. I was out of the car about to drop off the delivery. Well, I was being dumb and forgot to put it in park first and noticed it slowly lurching forward toward the garage door. It was like, 1 foot away from hitting the garage door and I quickly jumped back into the car to put it in park. Needless to say I triple check my car is in park when I turn it off from now on.

To be honest, the egg one happened to me once. My mom left me some boiled eggs for breakfast but I slept late that day, I decided to heat them in the microwave and they seemed normal until I tried to open one in half with my hands, it proceeded to explode so violently that there was egg yolk all over the kitchen and even in my nose due to the sheer force. Needless to say I learned a valuable lesson that day, luckily I was only 12-13
