When we have hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in these animals there’s little reason to be concerned. Dairy cattle are some of the most pampered animals on the planet. When we milk 2,000 cows three times a day we want the best possible production we can get. Most dairy farms are family owned. There’s millions of dollars at stake and riding on these critters. We want them very happy.

In fact it’s quite the opposite. The cows are put in our charge. When you’re milking 1800+ a day , you would not dare to hurt them. A happy cow gives more milk. Go harass someone else. Astonishingly they really do, the trimmer on the dairy I grew up on always called the blocks crutches for cows! One shocker is just how much pain a cow can stand before it shows. I tell you they are stoic creatures and their claws can withstand tremendous punishment. You'll hear ppl say you Can overheat their claw with a grinder. Or a blowtorch I really don't think so, I've literally taken a claw from a cadaver and put a torch on it with )the claw over my fingers and no shit I didn't feel it! But all that means that you've really gotta watch the cows, their feet are EVERYTHING! So no joke the trimmer is literally one of the most important ppl on a farm

Not that easy. On one of his other videos he describes cutting through keratin as similar to carving wood. Doable but requires a good amount of force.

He makes it look easy because he is so skilled.

I never knew that cows could have such problems with their feet. Thank you for all you do for these cows

I love to see how you take care of these cows ❣️ sometimes I feel like the farm animals or cattle get over looked when it comes to their feelings. I think it’s wonderful when people step up and watch out for them. You’re amazing. Ty👍

Lots of skilled trimmers on KZbin, but they don't have your connection, your smooth approach or the same fast method in which you work....you love these cows

My Rottweiler actually watched this video with me. It is his first non-dog KZbin video to watch.

That's so neat! It makes me thing of how wonderful I feel after going to the prosthetist and getting new shoes and inserts. Or even just a good soak. I imagine from the moment you get them in the crush and take the weight off a sore foot, they feel worlds better.

I just wanted to say that I have no idea who you are. Your channel was recommended to me randomly by KZbin. I just wanted to say God bless you for all you do for these cows. I know after seeing many of your videos now that these cows are forever happy after all that you do for them. Although I know nothing about how to care for a cow, it warms my heart to see such a kind and caring person who goes around and takes care of these cows ❤️💙💛💚

this is like peeling potatoes and getting the rotten bits out

even if you "cut off the rotten bits" the mould and rot would be all over the potato, so if the potato has mould on it dont just cut it off, get rid of it!

@@fecesgenerator You should probably just go ahead and throw out any moldy food. Just saying.
