I was looking for information on how to deal with my teenage son being raised by me , a single mom. Recently my son is resisting teachers who are trying to submit him through threatening bullying behaviour . It is a false power and he knows it . I found klaus his amazing videos and my questions were answered . Being led can be fun and good. It comes naturally if there is respect and non violence emmited through a true leader who is calm and strength embodied . Thank you Klaus !

Still in awww in front of your ways, your sensitivity, your knowledge, you truly are one of "the last samurai" and one of the masters of this world. I still feel honored to have been one of your pupils, to get your teachings, to see you "just be" with horses, "nothing more, nothing less". I still feel fortunate that I had the opportunity to live in a part of your house, to share your grounds and that of your ancestors. I am forever grateful to you Sir and to all your staff for the good care back in 2013. Forever gratefully at your service. Léo

I don't have a round pen or small enough area to do what Klaus does in his videos. My 18 yr Haflinger gelding easily evades me. At my age it is not the wisest idea to try to out maneuver him. After a while he will come to me and stay with me for a few minutes, but then he wanders off. I've had him about 10 months and work with him almost every day on the ground. No riding yet. He has experienced some abuse in his previous life before coming to my barn. I do not hurt him in any way, but try to show him I am the leader. He thinks humans are stupid.

Of course, because he knows how to 'talk' to a horse in their language. She does not.
