When Jude apologies then validates Tommy by pointing out the positives of his decisions ? That was showing growth. Tommy had to work through some deep trauma and learn how to communicate better. Jude had to grow up some and also learn how to communicate better. As adult with growth, they would have been fine.

It's not that he never cared for her he never cared for himself his mother never gave him the love that he needed as a child and it seems he didn't have a father either so he just doesn't know how to connect with feelings and stuff and he is mentally damaged I been in the same relationship and that's why I keep watching this series because one minute it seems so good but it's really not there because my ex mother never showed him love and support always put him down and he didn't have a father I dealt with it for 13 years of his abuse because that's how he was raised it's sad men grow up to be this way Tommy loved Jude but the reality is he will never know how to truly love or stay in a relationship because he is mentally damaged the only way he can survive a relationship is the get help but back then people were to ashamed to get help but now it's more common ugh these actors were so good alexz Johnson and tim I wish they did more acting because this is a great story this happened to me and I feel so much better I let go of that toxic relationship

i do not blame tommy for being mad at jude i mean she interfered with his life and showed up when he told her no and she got so upset and heartbroken because of what happened in my hometown that she drove her crazy and released a terrible album with tommy's name on it jude should never have gotten involved she almost threw everything away because of what she did
