Tumhe esa lag sakta hai but authentically handvo suji ke batter mai nahi banta basically suji ko non gujarati logo ne bina knowledge ke bas handvo ke batter ka substitute bana liya hai . but handvo authentically jo banta hai vo alag hai and and very delicious.

@@8Vinayaknandini Atta is made of 1 cup broken rice ( called as kanki ), 3/4 cup tuver dal, 1/4 cup chana dal. Soak over night and the next day drain water ( save it) and grind coarsely. Add saves water as needed. You need batter thicker than dosa. Add 1 tbsp of curd to the batter and leave over night. Rest you can follow your recipe.

I'm from vadodara..me bhi banati hu Ghar PE but rice ,and chana dal urad and moong dal se... authentic Recipe..I loved it so much...aap isko ferment kr k thoda jaggery dal k bhi bana sakte ho ...really ye baasi bhi bahot achha lagta hai means dusre din bhi Khao to yummy lagta hai

Nahi main eno nahi use karti ..rice or saari dal peese kr mix krk acchhese dhak k rakhti hu. Fermentation k liye achhhse ferment hone k baad eno dalne ki jaroorat nhi hoti wo sirf khane ka sooda thoda sa add kr do or achhse banao...me apni chhoti kadhaai me thick pancake k jaise cook krti hoo low flame me..bahot hi badhiya cook hota hai and soft. And spongy... 😋

We used to cook it on sand😅 like had its own baratan in which you fill up sand, let it get hot, then we used to put a thaali of this batter on top. I think it was to avoid so much oil and it would cook evenly for a perfect breakfast 😊

Vege kadhaai dhokla. Aandhvo is toovr dal + rice 1:2 ratio. The mixture is coarsely grounded, rest needs to follow same.

Actually handvo is made with a different batter which takes a lot of time to rest kinda like a dosa batter Or you can buy a premix which my mom does sometimes when she forgets to soak the lentils and rest the batter But anyway this recipe is also great tasty , quick and healthy 😋 Also did you know a traditional handvo is cooked not in a pan or a Kadhai but a special handvo maker which is a circle with a hollow circle in the middle
