How do you know if the base is simply not strong enough for the toss? Is there a certain exercise they can do to roughly estimate if they are strong enough?

I'm actually from a circus (partner acro) background not cheer but I would say if the same flyer can do the same trick woth another base but the base still can't donit with another (maybe more experienced) flyer - you can estimate who has to put in more work for the two to be able to pull it off together

almost seven minutes and not a single real demo, just words, i have learnt so much oof. A comparison between a toss without the flick and then with the flick you talked about for minutes would have been way more useful. also bro, at least introduce your flyer

Thanks for the feedback and I'm happy to see you learned something! There are multiple videos on the channel demonstrating a toss. The purpose of this video was to highlight one specific area of the set up for the toss and flick. To show that, a toss wasn't needed.
