Genius. I've been struggling with this issue, and have been looking for anti-reflective readers. This is such a great solution. As a photographer, I have to admit, Im a bit surprised I had not thought of this simple solution!

Thanks a lot for this video. It has solved my problem. I put a tiny piece of patafix / mounting putty over the camera light. That way I can adjust the position of the filter more easily without having to worry about exposing the camera light. Thanks again!

This was a big issue with some zoom interviews recently. I can't see the interview person without my glasses, though. Just ordered the filter. THANKS!

I started wearing contact lenses, but struggle with glare when I wear my glasses . Especially when I am not at home with all of my lights. I can't wait to get the filter (already ordered) and I will keep it with my laptop! ❤

FAB TIP! Thanks so much! Ordered :) What screen brightness level do you reco? I'm at 75%
@PatriciaKelikani7 ай бұрын
Awesome! My screen brightness is usually between 75% to 100%. You may have to make the screen brighter than 75% while using the filter or you can use a desk ring light.

Can you share which polarizer you used? Reviews on Amazon don't give me confidence to buy any of them. :/

the filter didn't work at all? I put it over my webcam and adjusted it both ways. Still lots of glare?

What light source is still putting the glare on your glasses?

Would this lens work on phone to reduce glasses glare in front of a window? Or just use the 10:00-2:00 tip?
@PatriciaKelikani Жыл бұрын
Yes! It should work on your phone to reduce glare from your window. 😄

This polarizer does nothing for MacBook. :(

Did you adjust the polarizer, rotating it to get rid of the screen glare? Also, did you use a light?

You made a very helpful video two years ago for avoiding reflections on your glasses which can be a real issue for those that use a ring light to film. In that video you admitted that your glasses were rather dated but even worse your eyesight had worsened several times since getting them and you weren't able to see very wearing them because they had become too weak for your eyes. As a former optician I applauded you for trying to help people that wear glasses make better videos. But I did sort of lecture you for not having glasses in your current prescription or at least close to your current prescription. Now you have an even better way of reducing reflections for glasses wearers but your clearly wearing the same glasses from two years ago which already much too weak for you. Besides not having a plan "B" if for any reason you would be unable to wear your contacts all you would have is those glasses which would be pretty much useless to you. It also means that you are constantly wearing contacts which isn't good for the health of your eyes. I'm surprised your optometrist hasn't told you that you need to be wearing glasses much more often to give your eyes a very much needed break from contacts. Usually influencers that wear glasses won't wear their glasses for the very reason your promoting this product. The reflection problem, but will admit to wearing glasses fulltime when not filming. You clearly don't do that since you don't even have glasses in your prescription to wear. Even wearing your out of date glasses you still look very nice and with new glasses no doubt even more attractive.

You’re right! Unfortunately, I’ve been putting it off, but I’ll be getting new glasses soon! 😄
