I just recently got an instax mini 11 for my birthday, having no clue there was so many things and mistakes that come with it. I took my my film out multiple times when it it still was pretty much a full film. I also had super blown out pictures and i'll look forward to trying the "sunglasses" hack, so thank you so much for spending your time making these videos, I really appreciate it.

All fujifilm needs is a little bit better camera with more controls. Or you can use one of the hybrid cameras like Mini LiPlay or the new Evo. The hybrid cameras have no problem handling the sun.

Thank you so much! I was SoOo confused when my photos started to come out all ‘blown out’ and ‘colourless’ this really helped, and now I can ovoid making that mistake. I’m only new to the instax cameras, after getting one for my birthday :) Your videos really help me. I hope you can make more videos on the camera :) Thank you :)

Thank you very much! I´ve been watching your videos and, they have been certainly very helpful. I was talking about the idea of using the nd filter to my boyfriend and he read that it is possible to use stockings as a low-cost solution to fix overexposed pictures (I´m not sure if the fishnet ones of the regular ones). Have you heard something about this? Would you recommend it? If you did a video trying the idea out I´d love to check it out. I also was wondering if there is a way of attaching the nd filter to the camera, or if you just hold it with your hand. Thank you very much in advance, and I am looking forward to checking out more videos about the camera!

I am not familiar with the stocking idea. I would expect that it will soften the picture a little bit. Maybe I will try it sometime in the future. I just hold the ND filter with my hand. Thanks for watching!

Very nice video! How many mm should the nd filter be at least for this camera? I find many sizes online, like 52, 67, 87mm etc. I see that the lens is 60mm, should I by the 67 one? Or an even larger?

You didn't mention what is the min/max f stop for the instax, or how do I know that I have to bring the exposure with 1/2 stops lower. The technical part of this video is not clear enough :(

I haven't tried a ND filter or poverized sunglasses yet but on my mini 40 I have the perple backing to a old instax taped to the lense and it works pretty well, I also cut the flash out and a cone on the light sensor so it can tell the shutter to stay open a wee bit longer. If I were to suggest a camera to some one I'd get the lomo instax mini it's cheaper and has so many more features

Hello! One question, when taking the photo with the filter, should I take out the flash? A day ago they gave me the instax mini 11 and I'm just getting to know it

Thank you for this! I am keen to buy the ND variable filter, is 43mm the right size for the Instax mini 11?

I purchased the ND lense but how do you attach it?

Should I buy mini 11 or mini 40 ?
@matejphoto2 жыл бұрын
On the inside it is the same exact camera. The only difference is in the design (how it looks). So it is up to you which one you think looks better. And if the Mini 40 design is worth the extra cost (the mini 40 is little bit more expensive).

Does the 58mm filter fit right into the instax or do you have to hold it in front of the camera while taking a picture?
@matejphoto Жыл бұрын
You have to hold it in front of the camera.

do you think I could do by myself a "filter" with a cellophane paper as well?

It should work, but you might see an impact of the image quality.

What size is the filter for the 11?
@matejphoto Жыл бұрын
There is no filter thread. 43mm filter should cover it. Bigger filter will give you more room so you don't accidentally get it in the shot.
