Good to know! Thanks for the terminology. I had a hard time keeping up with what they were saying during training since they never started off with terminology basics. And for non-speakers, it can be challenging trying to pronounce the terms when there are no written words to portray the way it is pronounced. Thank you for having it written out. It was really helpful 😊

Hello, Ma'am. I just wanna ask what was the correct korean terminology for chief instructor? There were various of different words in the google so i don't know which one is correct. I hope you can help me :))

There are various ways to address the instructors: Boo-Sabum nim / National Instructor (1-3 dan ranks) Sabum nim / International Instructor (4-6 dan ranks) Sahyun nim / Master (7-8 dan ranks) Sasung nim / Grand Master (9th Dan only) (nim means 'respectable', you can use it like Sabum Nora or Sabumnim Nora for example)

The only one missing is the command to fix your uniform. Sounds like the word “show”

I never knew there was meditation at taekwondo, my club doesn't do that
@NoraTKD3 жыл бұрын
I am sorry to hear that! We usually do 1-5 min depending on how much time is left from the class. During that time we think about some of the specific things we practiced and try to memorize them or go over the moves again. It is really useful to visualize techniques during meditation.

@@NoraTKD it's okay I just never knew that, I guess some clubs are different hehe
