@@RP_W3ST you do know that the only difference is the changing of gears right? Automatic doesnt do the round abouts for you or observations or parking Manoeuvers. It doesn’t drive the car for you, it just changes the gears for you. Is that what you think driving is? Changing gears?

Driving automatic is easy and kinda the lazy way of driving those who struggle with gears go with automatic as its easy. Observations round abouts and manoeuvers are actually easier in automatic as you have less to focus on and less to do which is why alot of people change from manual to automatic because they struggle with it so want the easier way which is why i say real drivers drive manual

@Driving School TV Just to be clear if you drive an automatic you can only drive an automatic, However if you drive a Manuel and pass it you can however drive an automatic as you have manuel exspireance. I drive a manual car. I am also applying for HGV provisional I lernt to drive by UDrive Lloyd Clark not sure how many instructors know him.

Hi Frances and Flo. I've a question. When on test and your instructor says parks up. Your videos always say to out in neutral. If you put in park is this any different will it be driving fault to do this?

Ok, serious question regarding the police car What could she have done differently? There was absolutely no room for anything else As long as the pavement was clear, doing it safely, she had no other choice other than have a stand off with both oncoming cars That’s so unfair you would’ve failed if that happened It’s out of your control🤷🏻‍♂️ What could you do differently in that?

Wait so you would fail your test if you were to mount the pavement in that situation with the police chase??? Wtf! If you stop on the road, there is nowhere for anyone to go unless you wait for the queue of traffic to clear!

Of course, because you’re driving on a footpath for pedestrians. You’re not supposed to do anything unsafe to give them way. You stop where you are, you let them figure it out, that might mean that they decide to reverse back out to allow you to pull through, there are other scenerios where they could get out without you doing something illegal. If anything, you wait for them to mount the pavement, because they are allowed to do illegal things in order to catch who they’re after, you are not.

@@UncleSpicey heeey! You wouldn't be interfering in a police matter just because you didnt break traffic rules to help an emergency vehicle. If you get flashed by a red light camera or caught in a bus lane, you wont get let off the ticket if you say you were doing it to help an emergency vehicle. You can't break traffic rules but they can. If you can help please do it but only if its safe and within the rules.

Automatic is for lazy drivers, Manual is for proper drivers or i should say old school drivers who prefer more control over the car, theres cons & pros for owning both a automatic & manual. its actually more expensive to repair an automatic gear issue than it is to repair an issue for a manual car, as for an automatic car, i guess its easier to drive cause you're not constantly changing gears manually, but me personally, i prefer to have a manual shifter/gears. Having an automatic driving in a big city is understandable, you're always moving off, then stopping etc, also having automatic when driving up steep hills is a plus, cause most modern automatics have electronic hand brakes now, some cars do have automatic hold function which is very useful on steep hills especially in big cities. I guess the downsides to a manual is driving up steep hills. But thats the fun of driving with a manual, its for proper drivers who know how to drive properly.
