Both are good, if you wanna drive while having fun shifting gears get a manual, but if you want to drive from point A to B then get an automatic But in my opinion i would choose both of them

I’m not British/EU, never had driven independently or say confidently just once with my uncle for 3,4 kms. No knowledge and skills about vehicle and driving. Started taking lessons in Leeds/UK. Always nervous and thinking that I can’t make it. And that too in leeds as some routes are very tricky. 1st attempt with 6 minors and one major. Couldn’t see the road sign of 30 and i was at 35/36 thinking it’s still 40. My instructor told me you did well and even examiner had wanted you to pass but its me who messed up. 2nd attempt, 75% of the same previous route. Saw those 30 speed limit big signs this time 😂 and said to myself “not this time”. Examiner was a lady super cool, friendly and kinda cooperative and actually assisted me a little bit to choose correct lane. End of the test. 1 minor and got my license very recently. Alhamdullilah ❤ It all depends on your mind presence, awareness and execution. It’s not difficult as considering myself who always thought of never being able to make it but did it in 2nd attempt. Wishing everyone best of luck give your best and don’t take pressure of examiners they just check that you are safe for others to drive a vehicle on road. I did it all from 0 to pass in like 02 months or so.

It's very frustrating we are not able to book any tests. How will this improve as this is scam and learners are exploited to pay much much more to get early dates by some driving schools which was not a case few years before. This is extremely bad happening to learners.

I just got my driver's license in the mail, and it's real! I do DoorDash, but I didn't have much time to study for the test. I can drive confidently without supervision, but keeping up with the test was tough. I failed my 1st test, missed the 2nd, and then failed the 3rd because I got too close to a parked car. That was my last chance to take it off work. Luckily, a friend at work recommended a private DMV instructor who helped me get my license without having to take the test. I just received it, and I'm really glad! It feels great to finally have it.

Wow great, I already figured the driving examination is a scam with the pass fail scheme I fully completed a test with 4 minors and got a serious fault that wasn't true my instructor said I shouldn't have failed so as the group chat of the driving instructor they also said it was a total rip off now I’m really disappointed, how can I contact you about your instructor I need help.

But cars parking on the side of the road made him stay in the right lane of on coming vehicles...even if he had made his way to the left, he will still be in the way of the on coming cars and it will make his turning to the right difficult, bcos his car will be facing the left angle

I had to watch this just to see if I was over reacting to my driving instructor who is either on his phone or chatting away distracting me with questions about my life and family etc and not telling me where he wants to me to go despite approaching junctions and roundabouts. I've only had 2 x 2hour lessons and I have no idea when I should be looking in the mirror exactly. The guy is with AA and I feel unsure whether to ask for another instructor from them or just move elsewhere. After watching this I've decided I will definitely not continue driving with this instructor although I'm worried as I have already paid for 10 hours.

dam good point about "not about how good of a driver you are its about how safely you manouver" i work on the roads and am shocked at the shear number of people that actually cant drive but have full license. The amount of people i have to instruct how to manouver out of the situation they found themselves in via driving into closed roads etc is unbelievable. Bearing in mind we manouver long wheel base sprinters etc around in the same areas. Even had people turn into a nervous wreck because the only way out is reversing.

I've been teaching my son to drive, with me he is perfect, however he took a mock test a few months back and he had crippling nerves it was so bad he just went blank and made a lot of serious mistakes.. something I certainly had never seen. He had a one to one zoom with a lady called Diane Hall and she explained the process that was behind his nerves and so we went back to scratch and he just drove into Uni daily which he became very confident.. we did loads of mock tests using Driving Test Routes app and latterly we'd just pick a random one each time until he was driving them all amaziingly! On the day of the test we knew he'd be nervous and probably pick up a lot of minors, but I just said don't focus on those, focus on driving just as you usually do and you will get through it, most importantly give yourself time, time gives you options, don't blindly follow cars in front of you and if in doubt on gaps, wait. Great news was that even with his nerves he passed 1st time! That was 4 months from his mock test where he had the disaster... it can be done!

Hello, this video is very helpful. What do you think about the method of pressing the clutch and brake pedal and after leave the foot from the brake pedal to the gas pedal and simultaneously raise the clutch to the bite point?
@TP_GillzКүн бұрын
You will roll backwards, unless your car has hill assist
@maxlamartina2578Күн бұрын
@@TP_Gillz thank you for your answer, yes mostly yes, but I think It may depend from the steepness. For example if I'm perfect I manage to start in this way without rolling backwards in hill steep 18 % but in very steep hill for example 30 % I nearly never managed not to roll backward. Another risk is also giving too many revs (for example 3000 rpm). Do you have similar experiences to tell?
@TP_Gillz23 сағат бұрын
@@maxlamartina2578 Ya on any noticeable hill I stop on that isn't extreme, as I am holding still on the break, just before I go, I bring my clutch up just into the bite point, an slowly let off the break and IF I feel any backward momentum as I let off the break I increase the clutch, usually I find the spot where it holds me in place long enough to get on the gas to get moving forward and not roll back or stall. Another method is to blip the gas using heel toe while coming off breaks if you feel like you need too. Its car dependent, my V6 Camaro does not have hill assist at all but has enough low tourqe to hold me still without bogging the engine on a majority of hills. On a more serious incline, I'll just use the handbreak instead of footbreak, but the method basically stays the same. So I, clutch up to start of bite point first, slowly off break, (increase clutch slightly as needed) once im off foot break, right to the gas, raise RPMS and clutch and off u go! The trickest times for me are when I don't realize I am on an incline at all!! And I come off the breaks too quick with clutch still coming up and then start feeling the rollback, long as you don't panic in that very moment, you make a judgement call, either get back on the break (safest, and best method for beginner), get to bite point and do it over basically, or just continue to get to bite point (a little quicker) and blip your gas so you can at least shove the car forward if you need too. It may not look very pretty to the car behind but you wont hit them! And because you blipped the gas to say 2-2.5k and held it, you wont stall even if u go thru the bite point of the clutch a little faster than usual. Just don't panic and dump it! When in doubt, HIT THE BREAK N MAKE UM WAIT!! lol
@maxlamartina257818 сағат бұрын
@@TP_Gillz your methods are very good, thanks for sharing your experience. that method of raising the clutch to an enough bite point (so not to roll back when you release brake) and only after giving gas it's a good method but it doesn't work efficiently in a very steep hill. In a very steep hill a biting point that gives you enough torque not to roll back when you release brake is very very high (maybe 90-95 % of the pedal travel) and if you raise the clutch to 90-95 %, even slowly, not giving gas first, the car is likely to stall. so in a very very steep hill or you use handbrake method or heel and toe method, as you mentioned. If you want to use the method of the biting point in a very very steep hill, so you should raise the clutch to a bite point, but not a bite point that will prevent you from rolling back at all, but only a tiny bit. So foot on the clutch and on the brake, raise the clutch to the 50-60 % bite point (and slowly), when you have raised the clutch to the 50-60 % (a mild biting point), when you release brake the car still rolls back (but not as fast as if you had clutch not at a biting point) so it's important to leave the brake pedal and put it on the gas pedal quickly. I think this, but it's also possible that with your car it's possible to do also very very steep hill with the method of "clutch to a biting point that allows not to roll back (in a very very steep hill I think 90-95 % of the pedal travel) and only after leave the brake and give gas"

Cyclists that work pay for road upkeep in tax. That's covered in council or income tax. They shouldn't have to pay emissions tax like a motorist does. Insurance is a valid point that I can agree with.

What would be classed as unavoidable? If you were unable to brake in time you would’ve just went through, just can’t picture an unavoidable scenario

Lets say someone runs out just when the light for them is green turned red/yellow, if you started to go forward you have to stop, even if its the cycle box. granted seems unlikely sinec you have to watch for people before you go. but thats at least on unavoidable scenario i can come up with.
