This was a bad choice of camera lens and position for a video too far away.

The pilot explained that “ To maintain altitude while the speed decrease to 90 knots by pitching up”. But pitching up, u will need more power right? The reduced speed would slow the plane a bit and pitching up would make the plane decent? Why the plane can still maintain its level, I don’t get it?

you may be referring to pitch for airspeed, power for altitude "school of thought" BUT, that's really not how it works! That only applies if you are "Power OFF" (e.g. a gliding) If you have excess airspeed, you can absolutely maintain altitude by increasing pitch (thus AOA) and still maintain altitude without adding power. A "better" thought process is PITCH for FLIGHT PATH, POWER for AIRSPEED. Just my two cents.
