How about a video showing how to get the console off an early JKU when the hand brake handle won't raise high enough & stays in the way? Something easier than removing the rear wheels, calipers and rotors to allow the e-brake shoes to extend more?

I am wanting to swap out my 09 JKU cluster for one that I purchased on eBay. Where do you recommend getting it reprogrammed for mileage to match, and will I mess up my Jeep if I plug it in without getting it reprogrammed?

The dealership has to program the correct mileage to the new cluster by law. Check with your local dealership before you buy it.

You can buy these on eBay preprogrammed with your mileage. Search “09 Jeep Wrangler Instrument Gauge Cluster Speedometer YOUR MILEAGE PROGRAMMED!” The seller also offers programming service, just message them.

Great video. You mentioned that you would talk about the compass but I didn't see it. Having electrical issues that most people are attributing to instrument cluster. Mine does not have compass or temp. The used one I'm looking at does. Do you think that will be an issue? Thanks

No, you will get temperature, mile per gallon distance to empty etc but to get the compass you need the module that goes in the center top panel over the stereo and a factory level scan tool to turn it on unless it won’t work. I have a navigation that has a compass so I didn’t go that route but the rest works great, also if your Jeep doesn’t have cruise control I have another video on installing that as plug and play

Yes, depending on year and model, some have non replaceable LED’s

Exactly what I was searching for! Dumb question, if the needles of the new Cluster are not aligned where they are supposed to be, is this Cluster good? How can I align them?

Yes, it should be fine. Don’t put it in that way some won’t correct themselves. Just take the front clear lens off and put the back to their stops.
