Heya everyone!
It's been a loooooong while since I've released an instrumental standalone video (almost a whole year, actually). Since this month is a bit of an "in-between" regarding music release - lots of things going on, big projects in the work but taking time, some vacations and all.
So yeah, here's the instrumental version of "The Wings of Destruction", Molten Spike theme!
Regarding project, I'm working on both "Fluttershy, One With Nature" from Elden Wing EP and "Virtus, King of Heroes" from the Primordial Pantheon themes. In addition to that, I'm also working on other songs for Infinite Eclipse: Prequel Finale and on the light novel of Infinite Eclipse: Origin.
PLUS, I'm also working on some Game OSTs, as well as some trailer music (apparently, some labels are interested!)
And finally, I also need to record my own vocals for the metal version of Aqasha's song (which will be the "test track" for the metal album project - if it's sounding good and if it's appreciated, I might do more metal songs - covers and originals - to make an album and, eventually, perform live at conventions if I'm invited (but nothing's sure yet now for that project!))
SO YEAH, mega busy here and what I described above is "just" the music side of it. I also have many other things to do on a personal level and stuff. So yeah, stay tuned! =D

I love how the Molten themes are so... intimidating. They feel like a big, horrible and unstoppable force who it's approaching slowly while you can't do anything but try to escape. In contrast with the crystallised themes, who feel more like a silent, evil thing that you only can feel, and when you see it it's because is too late.

Still loving the fact that neither Aqasha nor Ayzat didn't showed themselves just to bring terror but you can feel their presence right there. They're controlling the corpse of Spike, aka, the Wings of Destruction! I always love the Molten tracks doesn't go off the militaristic vibes and apocalyptic, letting the listeners feel what true destruction and madness are like. Another spectacular job, Jyc! 🔥

What I thought recently... As earlier has been said, Aqasha and Nerath were sources of respectively Celestia's/Daybreaker's and Luna's/NM's powers. And so, if IE is not a matrix, goddesses also need a process that would be their source of energy, should it be nuclear fission, thermonuclear fusion, lowering of Nibiru's orbit or even using "life energy"(i.e. chemical energy _with magic_ ) of gobbled fillies (that last one is from unproven tales). So, how do they do that? Or they just use law of energy conservation: if you want to cool something down or make crystals, you should take from it energy of thermal movement of molecules or energy released by assembling of bonds between particles in crystal cell. While if you want to heat something, you should increase energy of thermal movement of molecules, hence you should supply that energy to molecules. And in that case we have a sightly picture: actions of Nerath (simplified) leads to cooling of objects and releasing energy that is transfered via magic to Aqasha, and she's increasing temperature (thermal energy) of objects. This leads to heating of the air that transfers energy back to Nerath, and the cycle repeats. Yeah, it could break the second law of thermodynamics, but only if we ignore the role of magic: it spends when it transfers energy, so "modified magical 2nd law" could not be broken

And for not so fundamental and probably secret questions... What about "advanced theoretical application of physics" in IE's world (for example, using 3rd Newton's Law for creating thrust or using molecular thermodynamics for creating jet engines... well, _with magic_ of course), and how much Goddessess know about physics and its practical application? And so, can they resemble jet engine by using magic only (to control movement of air molecules)?

I thought the exact same thing when I saw the artwork. I can picture Molten Spike speaking to Ember in a deep, demonic voice (I assume he’d at least possess the capacity for speech, due to having lots more of Aqasha’s magic in him). “Twilight should have warned you…..you are alone here, young Dragon Lord. You have always been alone.”
