Hi Shawn, the Rockwool came from Home Depot. I went through the Pro Desk to order and had to order a pallet qty.

Sorry for the noob question, I'm new to your channel. Did a quick search in your videos, but don't see the dimensions of the building. Curious what you paid for the Rockwool. You said "four pallets", if memory serves?

@@bobjackson7516 Hi Bob, no worries. The shop is 36x45. The Rockwool came in at $3500, I had to special order it from big orange. I am a Pro Extra member and had a perk coupon and I also take advantage of their Veterans benefits.

Did you find the acoustics in the barn changed as you worked? When I did my basement with roxul it was amazing how quiet it got as I went.

Most definitely. It's actually a bit off putting when standing next to the Rockwool wall, there is no sound at all coming back and you feel it in your ears. I'm skinning the walls in plywood down low and sheet rock up high so that will change some. Still deciding between plywood, osb and steel for the ceiling.

@@Northof44Degrees-rj5wt Looks really good. I'm up to my ears in home renos, going to tear down ugly, dirty, sun faded vinyl siding, and the stucco underneath, then new siding after. In winter. Hahahaha

Thanks, this is the second time I've used rockwool. Its a lot easier on the installer (me) and is supper effective. In and old house there would be an added safety factor too.
