I took my pre-licensing through 2021 Training. Since I live in a non license state Wisconsin, I picked Texas as my DHS. Once I passed my exam it only took a few days for me to get my license. This was in March 2020. I gotta say, I really liked the 2021 Training it was very good! Very detailed.

Unfortunately you'll need to get your FL license first if you're a FL resident. It's at least as good as the Indiana or Texas license, which you can easily get once you get your Florida license. adjustertv.com/licensing

Sounds like you might be in CA. I would suggest doing virtual/remote work that doesn't require a license - wegolook.com inspectorsondemand.com etc. You can also deploy to states that don't have licensing requirements - and if there's a big hurricane, don't let a lack of a license stop you from getting on rosters.. as long as you have everything else (training, gear, etc)

Would Mile High Adjusters be a decent route to go for pre licensing? I'm thinking of getting into the field & doing pre licensing with them. However, I'm in Mississippi.. so my state does have home requirements here. Would a pre licensure program through a place like that help me in passing the MS required exam (or would it be learning a lot that I'd just have to repeat & pay all over again for on the MS side)???? If it's helpful for MS as well, then I would probably go for it. I already signed up for the ipath info, since I really want to diversify my options for revenue streams through this. I would definitely be wanting to do cat claims at times, but would also want to do more with daily property & maybe auto too.
