बहुत अच्छी जानकारी दी है आपने. मेरी एक पॉलिसी है 2007 की money plus T No 180. Maturity date march 2017 थी इसमें 3 साल तक 15000/- प्रीमियम जमा किया था. फिर आगे जमा नहीं किया. 2010 में SV 55000/- मिल रही थी तब मैंने सरेंडर नहीं की. सोचा कुछ टाइम और wait कर लेते हैं शायद वैल्यू बढ़ जाए. अब कस्टमर केअर policy foreclosed बता रहा. और Lic ब्रांच में contact करने को बोल रहा. इसकी आज की SV कैसे calculate करेंगे ? Foreclose होने का मतलब क्या होता है और इस केस में अब due money का कैलकुलेशन किस आधार पर होगा ? क्या LIC बिना मुझे कोई जानकारी दिए foreclose कर सकती है ?

I have one query, it would be great if you could share your response for the same: I have a ICICI life term insurance with lock-in period of 5 years for which I have already paid premium for 4 years. I don’t wish to pay this year premium, (query: will the withdrawal amount after lock in period becomes taxable (which is not the case if the premium is paid until lock-in period). सर मैने बजाज कैपिटल के थ्रो exide लाइफ insurance karaya tha । तीन साल किस्त एनुअली पे कर दिया है। जिसमें मुझे eight years pay Krna था अब मे जमा नहीं kr सकता किस्त ४४ thousand rupees की है।eight years के बाद ४६ हजार रूपए eight years तक return कर के बाद १लाख eighty thousand rupees १६ saal bad wapis करेंगे।अब मुझको क्या करना चाहिए जिस से मेरी दी गई राशि पूरी मिल जाए और कब मुझे पूरा रूपया मिलेगा ।मैने paid off kra diya हैं।

Most companies ask for at least 2-3 premiums to be paid before it acquires a surrender value. Also, the surrender value is usually just 20-25% if policy is surrendered after just 2-3 premiums.

Respected sir being in my 20's learning everything and investing too bt didn't care much of knowing insuarance until I found out about my mom insuarance policy with hdfc sl Progrowth plus (sum assured=3lakh for 10yrs with 30k/yr premium) so can u tell me how should I take care of it as my mom is illiterate in these so now I have to take things into consideration.. 1) is this a good or bad policy respect to sum assured 2) what should I do further should I continue paying it or any other way.

@@EveryPaisaMatters i have submitted a cheque towards 1st premium, but before the cheque being presented; i have intimated the company to cancel my policy. They have generated my policy no, however the cheque got dishonoured later..
