We are spectating the AI Battles of multiplayer bots in Insurgency Sandstorm. Be sure to subscribe for more AI Battles/NPC Wars/NPC Battles videos.
Here is how to create AI vs AI match in a local PvP game mode;
-Go to the Local Play mode and start any map there.
-Go to the options and set a key for admin menu.
-Choose a loadout and after your character is spawned enter the admin menu, go to levels section and from there launch any PvP game mode.
-First you need to join a team and Bots will join both teams
-Some game modes are gives the "draw" match result at the beginning, I don't know a fix for it yet.

for the people talking about the pistol scene. that happens because of how AI accuracy works. it starts really low ams improves with each shot. meaning when they are empty lf their primary and with the same target they gonna shoot far mlre accurate

I bumped the vanillia AI difficulty up to 3 so they take fewer missed shots. It doesn't fix the jank but when everything works, its brutal. As a bonus, I also modded the game's INI to allow more bots in checkpoint (12v12) and slightly reduced the dismemberment threshold so gore effects are much more likely to happen - instances where you would expect gore and dismemberment (such as point blank shotgun blasts or a .50 BMG limb shot) are now a guarantee.

Oh that is nice, AI difficulty was at 0.5 and I was only able to higher it up to 1 and there wasnt much difference. I will take a look at .ini file for AI and gore stuff, nice to know you can edit those. Thanks for the info.

Also I wanted to say thanks again for the info on WD2 NPC hacking. I'm now able to call both police and gang on someone at the same time but I couldnt go further than that. I think there was more stuff you explained but I couldnt do those. Was there another trick for calling multiple polices/gangs?

@@NPCUniverse I think what you did wrong in regards to WD2 is that you didn't switch to a different NPC after resetting the hack. After calling the police or a gang, hack the NPC's cash. Find another NPC nearby with a bank account and repeat the process. I usually do this with the police since it gives you time to "scout" the NPCs with loose wallets while the cops do their thing. With gangs, you got to be quick since panicking civvies prevents the trick from working. Works well in a crowded area if done properly.

@@NPCUniverse Going back to Insurgency, here is a link to a guide on how to adjust the gore. steamlists.com/insurgency-sandstorm-small-guide-to-configuring-iss-gore/ Regular notepad works. As for bot count and other settings, look up the "server admin guide" for the command lines. They can be used in your local INI files, adding them in the same way as the gore settings. (Gore in "Engine.ini", bot and others in "Game.ini")

You should look into garrys mod. If you haven’t already. A lot of custom NPC and Maps and scripted scenes you could create. Just gotta look for NPC pov cam and smarter AI stuff fun stuff to watch unfold. 🤙 I enjoy watching NPC hash it out

@@NPCUniverse I managed to find out how to get freecam spectating in modes without the spectator team man! It is kind of complicated and not that good but basically get to the server admin menu and go to player then turn on godmode then turn on fly mode, and then go to ai and press toggle ai notarget so they wont hit you but if you respawn or die you have to toggle on flymode and ai notarget again and also you always have to be holding something so your hands do get in the way a bit, just switch to the knife it is the smallest but you cant ever get rid of it

@@oneworldornone347 I've tried this when I first reinstalled the game last week, remember I said I was doing some tests before you first suggested the game. I've tried exactly what you said that time and also now I've tried it again. Toggle AI is just disables AI, for both friendlies and enemies. Free camera with weapon in hand and head bobbing is not good, you can disable head bobbing but still enemy AI shoots the player, its just still not possible to create videos without getting shot or get a proper camera. Just like when I tested it before. But thanks for letting me know anyways.

This is spectator team that is why no one shoots, in some game modes you have spectator side to join. Don't remember wich ones had it but in this video I was in Rush mode and it has spectator mode.

@@NPCUniverse yes I have. I also looked up other tutorials Atwell as read on webs. But u don't know how to make it work. I've done the videos to create the txt in the windowcluend folder. And server folders just incase. Within the configuration folder but nothing. I've created Ted txt and pasted it all of it but still nothing. Even when i did Atwell loaded in to follow the steps but still nothing.
