What's annoying is that if you hold down Y to get on the gunner seat of the insurgent pickup custom you get in the driver seat instead. Only way to get on the gun solo is to hop on top of it and enter from the top.

The Insurgent Pickup have the option to drop proximity mines (infinite number but only 5 active at a time) so you should go for the max armour; it's a great vehicle if you've friends for heists and contact missions and also to fight griefers and tryhards.

Since the Depressor and Depressor Mk2 release i haven't seen anyone using the Insurgent for grief; i've seen it used to fight griefers and tryhards, as it stands up to 26 RPGs, that i think that's up to 32 or 34 homing missiles. With the default MG up armoured etc if you've a gunner... you can scare and even kill the Depressor's griefers, it's harder againist the HE sniper tryhards, but can be done.

The medium armor plating seems the best, protects the gunner very well, and if you have the 50. Cal ontop with proximity mines equipped I don't think you need the sticky bombs cause the proximity mines arm instantly unlike the hand held proximity mines

If you have a big group then go for medium armor so you can 9 people shooting but if it’s just you and a friend go for heavy armor so the gunner has more protection

It's a good vehicle but it's rather vulnerable against aircraft with its lack of range and it can't aim up high so I prefer the technical custom.

Gabriel Rorke I just use ghost org with my gunner and we stay away from the jets far away but due to the accuracy, damage, range, fire rate and elevation combined, it can take out lazers and hydras ez when they don’t even know where u are with ghost org. But yeah it’s not the most practical way to take out jets.
