This music first appeared in the Black Armory DLC, aka "Season of The Forge" on December 7th, 2018 as the theme for the final boss encounter of the “Scourge of the Past” Raid, later vaulted with the release of Destiny 2: Beyond Light on November 10th, 2020.

Hey all, finally got some progress on restoring the old music archives! This is the first of 8 tracks that'll be posted tonight, figured I'd start with my most popular classic upload. I'll make a community post later tonight with more details, but temper your expectations, this doesn't mean 'everything' is going back up, there are some rules we need to abide by here. But in the meantime, hope you all enjoy this old favourite boss theme. Thanks for your continued patience throughout this whole situation, it really does mean the world to me.

I know you've got a ton of requests like the one I'm about to make, but if you could do The Sanctified Mind Extended that'd make my month. The regular version Bungie released is too short to use for DnD combat music

No-can-do on that one, sorry. One of the clauses for archiving music is that it can't be a track that's (A) still in the game and (B) is for sale on a paid-for OST, and Sanctified Mind is both of those.

The damage phase really is the best of the raids tbh. Unlike the other bosses, I feel like prime was a real threat. Idk how he handle the newer guns but even with whisper, it was a pain to kill him. Mostly cause of raid blue berries…

Well at the time, brigs weren’t a normal enemy type. This was something completely new, a giant fallen mech beefed up with black armoury tech. Also the fact that it’s right in the middle of the last city, it doesn’t give us the advantage of having time to prepare while it breaks through the wall.
