Just a heads up, there's a bug with the Child model where it won't write on the book in higher areas, so the desks were not good places for the book against this specific ghost, should put it on the floor in the future if you see that particular model. I know it didn't matter for this particular run, but I've been screwed many times from that little bish not writing on higher areas for me. Dev is working on it as we speak, but for now I'd recommend putting it on the floor until it's fixed.

TL;DR: Idea for Sound to become viable... "old fashioned way", or gadget way. I think the p.mic and sound sensors should be better tuned in picking up ghost events. And by adding multiple sensors, its not an small area of effect, but rather "global". And the map in van shows which sound sensor the sound is closest to. Maybe even triangulating an point on the map, that shows approximately origin of the sound. (only shown when multiple sound sensors are online) Ghost counters to sensors should be to turn them off, destroy them, dismount and throw them off the wall. (more expensive sound sensors could have an alarm if messed with, to easier find and set it back up again later) Parabolic mic can then work in, on being a mobile triangulate tool. Showing sound measurement in hand, but also working in sync with the other sensors. So it becomes practical in the same fashion as Video camera & head mounted camera. All connected to the van. Best use of tracking of sound: Larger maps like Asylum and School. & Prison. Tip on locating the ghost at for example Asylum, listen for sounds. Sound sensor and p.mic simply amplifying that strategy. Listening for sounds on small house missions is not necessary. I do see an solution regarding time-saving, with Sound Sensors being stackable. Given the Sound sensors are much less useful than Motion (which also are kinda useless, except for objective) So either having a Sound sensor, be a 2-pack (like Crucifix having 2 "charges"/uses) or a 3-pack set, that only occupies 1 slot. Or buying 3, taking 3 with you, picking up 1, 2 or 3. All in one item slot. Positioning them as you walk to different locations. Then take a sanity-pause at the van to check for activity. [[ ^ It can when/if made functional, become an viable option for those without nerves of steel, hehe. ]] Time spent wandering the hallways, can be boring to some. Extremely terrifying for other's. With sanity going down and hunts starting, an alternative way to locate the ghost room/area of activity can be welcome.

How would you feel if they added a new "nightmare" gamemode where the ghost does 25% more spooky things, is 2% more likely to hunt at all sanity levels (including actually being able to hunt above 50%), moved at 1.2x speed to be inescapable, and checked 1-2 nearby rooms if it can't find anything in a hunt? I feel like the game would be a lot scarier with this mode, since it'd remove the 3 near-immunity options of constantly popping sanity pills, instahiding without making distance and ESPECIALLY holding W. Honestly, I wish they'd make the ghost slightly faster than people to begin with.

I feel like something changed about the game when you play Pro..The last 2 days the ghosts have been crazy aggressive on pro and I've never had that we once got a revenant in high school and we couldn't get out after trying for 20-30 mins because it hunted after 5 seconds from the previous hunt...We also got a shade that hunted the say way (really aggressive) while we all stayed together...Maybe the secretly changed pro so it's even harder now ?

I had a weird game too recently. I'm 76% sanity and ghost enters hunt mode..actually I was probably closer to 80% since 76 was what it showed as afterwards in the van. Is it a bug or feature? Didn't feel intended.....no buildup, no ghost events...just boom, it be hunting.
