The Radio should be on your shoulder like many people do IRL and the journal should be in your back pocket. This way you can have all your tools in front of you on your tool belt and still have the function and physical items that everyone can see on you.

I for tracking reasons they can’t really have things on the back of the belt as a lot of the headsets track via cameras on the front and having the walkie on your shoulder is aweful

Tried the new update in VR and the first thing I witness was red lights with the ghost standing in front of me. And here I thought I already got used to phasmophobia shenanigans but I guess it's a whole another experience in VR.

you absolutly should apply as a gametester. Playing new patch for 20 minutes and already breaking half of it :D but the new vr stuff looks really nice

To me VR in Phasmo still lack few what I call essencial stuff which are: -Being able to swap holding item with the one on belt -Being able to turn off/on equipment like flashlight on the belt without need to pick it up first -While holding journal and item in the second hand (eg. photo cam) to not use that item while interacting with the journal (so you can check for fingies photos without triggering another photo for most cases). With these 3 things I think VR in Phasmo would be perrfect for me

The first one is very necessary, the second one not so much, and the third one would be a great quality of life change.

@@pixxlated_ I am glad that somebody agree for most part. My argument for the second point is that during a hunt PC players can just click one button to do so which is fast. VR players need to move their hand (probably in panic) also probably throw whatever they are holding to grab that flashlight or any other equipment and either turn it off and put back or throw. This everything taking way more time than on PC. So not enough you need to react fast to run away but also somehow do all these things just to maybe not die.

I think I'm going to hate the changes to the hiding spots, if only because I finally reached a point where I was comfortable with my ability to hide and survive hunts for once, and NOW I have to figure out the right way to hide aaaaall over again. The whole "scouting out hiding places" thing is going to be genuinely annoying on large maps and when dealing with demons...

Same. Doors were the best, and even then they weren't a guarantee of survival (except the Tanglewood bathroom one). I died multiple times behind the garage door in Willow, so I really hate that they felt the need to eliminate it. I wish they had compromised and made those spots part of the x amount we're allowed based on difficulty. So, maybe you get the door the way it was, but there's a chance you get the new version, too. Better than just erasing it completely, especially since those were also noob friendly hiding spots.

@@shaunhayes3072 i think what OP means is that most of the door hiding spots were always there, so when a hunt starts, the answer to "where do i run?" was usually the same every time. now you need to find the hiding spots before a hunt happens and remember where they are. it isnt the end of the world, but its harder overall, especially if youre still learning how to hide properly and not just running in a random direction still takes a conscious effort. its much harder to remember these things in that moment of panic when a hunt starts lol that carries over to big maps and demons; yes, there are technically now better/more plentiful hiding spots, but if you get an early demon hunt before you've found which hiding spot(s) are open, you either have to hope the one you're running to is open, or assume it isn't and try to get away without it

@@shaunhayes3072 - some of us just like biding behind the doors. The very thing this change was aimed at fixing - the fact that those spots were almost-always safe - is exactly what I liked about hiding behind doors.

@@thlayliroo - it can also be a problem of the ghost starting its hunt in the path of the 1 and only hiding spot open on the map, leaving you totally screwed. I liked knowing that I had a couple different doors I could run to if the ghost spawned in a bad spot for me.

What a coincidence, my first ghost of the patch was also a Myling on Tanglewood with tarot cards, except the ghost was in the basement, and he was so quiet during hunts

The movement delay is an index thing I think. Not having that issue with rift controllers, but those are known high performers when it comes to latency

Imo the sound sensor should show soundwave chart instead of one realtime line. I mean like the Activity monitor or an EKG. All the recorded sound spikes in the last 1 minute. We can't pay attention always but between two camera placement just a glance on the sond sensors and like "oh there was a sound spike in the garage 30 seconds ago i should check it"

Theres gonna be a bit of many patch because there's many glitches still in the game even though it's gotten a quick patch, some glitches are just apparent in game

I tried out the VR update today. The hands came out backwards while picking up stuff and I couldn't place anything on the wall without rotaing my hand weird. Got totally frustrated by other VR bugs and the new radio/journal placement as well. Definitely not gonna be playing VR for a while until this gets fixed which sucks for me since I usually play this game in VR.

Having multiple things in close proximity to grab in VR doesn't work. If you want to move the radio and journal fine, but don't set it right next to other potential interactions. Many games have tried this, and not a single one has made it work smoothly. I'm a bit disappointed this feature somehow passed their testing phase. If you want guaranteed jank put VR things to grab right next to each other.

Looks like interacting with doors is still a PITA... :/ if it's open, you should just be able to walk into it to open it with your body. Grabbing the door is still way easier on k+m... which is honestly one of the biggest reasons I don't do VR in Phasmo. Interacting with anything is so tedious.

Because ghosts who have writing will write instead of throw, he lines the book up with the dots so he knows exactly where it was so if it’s moved and not written in he knows for a fact the ghost is not a writing ghost.
