These horses now have a future. With the Navajo Handlers also involved in taming it is a win-win. This program out together by HorsePlus and Love of the Hoof really did a great thing. he Navajo Horse Handlers will work with the horses so they can be more easily adopted. Desensitizibg, halter breaking, lunging, picking up feet etc. Sure there will be hoof care involved too. Adopters will still have the responsibility of taking on very green horses but they will have a good start.

I am not part of Love of the Hoof but I follow them and HorsePlus. These horses are Mustangs from the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. They are not Mustangs managed by the BLM.

Thank you so much. Those poor souls are terrified, but I know they are now safe with you. So much for them to deal with. Sentient creatures that are abused worldwide daily. I personally dont know of any rescue sanctuaries in Australia. Our unwanted animals are killed without much outcry. It is devastating to know our government doesn't care. Like all politicians, they are all in it for themselves, almost exclusively. Animals? Couldn't be bothered. Again, thank you.

Very professional system, especially in dealing with what is essentially a herd. Your squeeze shute is great. Just a beautiful herd of horses with some real stars amongst them. Did they come from the reservation or what? No sad,skinny horses on their last legs thank goodness. Could someone clarify exactly what the process is during intake,as although I can see blood work drawn,and I'd number,what else is happening,as everyone looks very busy? At what point are you able to separate mares from stallions,or has that happened before they are transported? Well done guys,that a huge amount of horses to process so quickly.❤

He was kicked from one of the other horses the vet told me if ot wasn’t better in a couple of weeks to give her another call it happens the horses fight in the wild and in captivity

Only have a limited view online .....but the horse at 21.54......number 52, looks like a Ghostwind Appaloosa (pretty rare)........Is he a stallion ? If he is a Ghostwind, he will throw lots of colour, if he is a stud. Shame I am in the U.K. Well done for saving these lovely horses, good luck with all you do.

There’s gotta be a better way other than stressing out these horses first thing. Even I hate the sounds the metal makes. We are a nation of known for our creativity - we can design a cage or a system (companion horse nearby?) that isn’t so terrifying. Go for it!!!
