Such a beautiful sight to see these little furries slowly come out of the trailer into a warm clean barn with lots of hay. I hope they live happy lives and even get adopted into loving homes. We rescue dogs in Thailand and I know how important rescues are. Brilliant work to everyone involved.

Most Importantly a big old thank you to the person who donated his property and resources to save all these animals. If you do the math it is near 60 after foaling. What a wonderful person you are and thank you volunteers, and I hope the people who owned and forgot about this herd get their fair share. Thank you for saving all these pony's. I can't stop crying. I have not cried for a good year because I'm numb and dissociated from decades of being subject to child trafficking and adult trafficking. I can trust animals but not human... I'm so happy to see these ponies find a greatest home they can have. lot's of kids and perhaps people like me that need to heal. your organization is not just for animals. it's a place to feel again as a human. Joey told me about your farm. I'm glad I dropped by.

This rescue is amazing... they're willing to take on almost 60 Shetland ponies. 2 stallions, 28 mares and presumably about 28 foals as well. And look at how well they treat them... they're so gentle and patient. The ponies look so happy!

Knowing that they are somewhere where they can get fed,and that all of their needs will be met is such an unselfish act,and I think that it is a beautiful thing. The fact that you guys took them all in to provide them with the help they desperately needed made me feel really happy for sure. I t upsets me so much seeing sweet,innocent animals being cruelty treated and all they wanted was for someone to love them. That’s not speaking much. They're ladies I'll have you know ;) There may be a bull or two amongst them. But, I suspect they're mostly cows. They just have lovely big horns too. I forget the name of the breed, it's an ancient one. I love how "matchy-matchy" they are with the Shetlands, a surfeit of voluminous hair... =)

What is amazing is how, despite not being cared for previously the ponies are so calm being looked at and groomed. Hope they have found new loving homes. Horses and ponies are not cheap to look after. Ask people who own them about the commitment needed. A friend was going to buy a pony. She thought seeing it once a week to ride it was sufficient

Oh no - how can anything be this cute? I have 2 of these tiny Shetlands running around with my riding horses and I too got them as rescues as they were left on a property where a family was behind in rent and in the eye of the social office for child neglect so they fled the house and county, leaving behind the ponies and cats. Someone else took the cats. I was the only horse owner within 10 kilometers and therefore the Police called me to ask me to take them into custody for temporary care. So I drove over there, got the two little ones and walked them all the way home.

Seeing those little horses come of the transport makes you realize how innocent and dependent animals are on humans to treat them well. They are completely at the mercy of us and we had better treat them with kindness and respect.
