TunerGUY 34 Not removing, just exposing the filter assembly. Removing the filter is an extremely stupid thing to do.

@@williamparsonscarper Not necessarily. A cold air intake, or a short ram, or simply an exposed air filter will dramatically increase intake sound. If you have a loud exhaust though, the intake sound might be drowned out by the exhaust. There are other factors as to why intake sound is loud and crisp. A metal intake manifold will be louder than a plastic one. A ported intake manifold, or a better flowing one, will be louder. An engine with a high flowing head and big cams will be louder. In summary, you just need an exposed air filter.
