The printed area is from a digital printer or copier using toner. The foil sticks to the toner that has been printed.

Would this foil napkins? I’m guessing ai would need to to somehow print image (black toner) into the napkin. I’m in search for a machine that will foil napkins like you machine does with paper. I am currently using a quill pen in my cameo3 machine. Where I design the image in silhouette studio and the quill pen embossed image on to napkins. This is a hit or miss because the foil will tear through the napkin.

Interesting machine. When in foiling mode it should automatically engage the fans. Numeric keys would have been a better choice on the control panel. You only have a half dozen or so dedicated command keys. Or better still a touch panel screen. I'm not sure the loading method makes a world of sense. How long does it take to heat and cool that hot roller? How difficult would it be to add a stack feeder for unattended operation? Do you have a model that can apply different colored foils simultaneously during the feed process of new laser printed items? You'd need to create a software profile for the printed material to make sure each "element" gets the spot foiling desired.

Hello IraQNid, Thank you for your comments. The option to initiate the fan yourself is because you can foil and laminate on this machine - it is not a pure foiling machine. Numeric keys would not work because each of the keys are separate to the menu indicator below. A touch screen would be a nice development but as prices are keen in this market it is not necessary. Loading is very easy. The heated roller only take a few minutes to heat - a little longer to cool. The model shown is an entry level solution and auto feeding would take it out of its viable price range....we have higher specification (with touch screens etc.) systems for auto feeding. No model for simultaneous colored foils but you could cut the rolls down and do it on this model. Yeah I saw that the machine has dual uses. So when you're in the foil mode why don't the fans get activated automatically by default? Having to remember to press a dedicated fan button seems rather pointless.

@@IraQNid There is no foil only setting, everything is adjustable - so the system does not know if you are foiling or if you are laminating - but it would be a good programmable option if we were to have a touch screen then it could be automatic.

Thank you for your enquiry. You would initially print only the logo/text on the Intec ColorSplash printer, put this through the CF350 to be foiled and then put back through the ColorSplash printer for the remaining artwork to be printed.
