Integra Fuel Pump Removal And Install

1988 acura integra coupe.. having issues starting car sometimes. After it sits it starts. I changed fuel filter And sprayed starter fluid a few times to get it started. But most of the time it starts fine. It just randomly not want to start. Should I hear fuel pump prime every time I put the key on ON position?. Sometimes I hear it sometimes I dont.

I would start by looking at the main relay first, ast the the fuel pump should prime every time your turn the key, also check the spark plugs and distributor as well, and after you have checked that I would check the starter, but in reality the pump should prime every time you turn that key

My car does not have one usually its the black canister that is in the front of the engine bay next to battery

Hi, I would like to put a bigger pump in my stock Teg type r. Die I overfill the Engine with the Pump? I mean I got a stock pressure regulator so it's fine right? I just want a new pump soo...

It should be fine but I would. Hanve the fuel rail and get a fuel regulator so u can adjust the fuel going in to the motor

Hoppychulo101 I have this same question. So does that mean you have a fuel regulator yourself? I’m only looking to replace stock pump in a stock(ish) daily

@@MiguelLopez-hh7lf just leave it stock, if u arnt building the engine and/or adding a turbo there is literally no need to have a bigger pump.
