Random question, but what do you plan to do after uni? Is there a specfic job you are looking for? I assume you love math so would you work in academia?

not too sure haha. im still doing my bachelor's degree but i'm looking to get into postgrad next year! maybe ill become a professor but the future is truly unpredictable.

You could just start by integrating by parts in the first step: 1*cos(ln(x)). Integrate the 1 and derive the cos(ln(x)). This way the x cancels with the chain of cos(ln(x)) (which would be 1/x). Do it once more und you end up with the result

totally! that is certainly another valid method in approaching this problem. i shouldve included it as part of my solution. thanks for pointing it out!
