Yes! I agree! Very, very good webinar. I think it is the only one in YT, which methodically and step by step shows how to integrate Planner with Project on-line. Thank you very much!

Microsoft has created a confusing mess. Thanks for trying to clarify. If people are working on tasks, that would be in Teams, thus Planner specifically, how do they report their time by task? You can't! Timesheets is in Project, so a contractor has to access Project to enter their time by task (no!)

Angstrom, I can understand your frustration. There are other tools that we offer that can fill these gaps - nice "in betweens" for Project Online, Project for the web, Planner, and Teams. Reach out to us for more info at info@ppmworks.com if you're interested!

Is there a reason why you don't show the step by step instructions for completing option 4, the full integration? Does another video show this?
@PPMWorks3 жыл бұрын
Hello, Lauren! It would be an add-on tool that could either be purchased via the Microsoft store, or with our assistance. Reach out to info@ppmworks.com for more information and we can assist!

Do the checklists also link? That is, if I have a level 3 task (which is essentially a checklist item) in Microsoft project, does it show in the planner as a checklist items?

Great question! This feature is currently under development and should be available very soon. Check back for more information!

In installed the Integration Hub and don't see the extra columns in Project??
@PPMWorks4 жыл бұрын
Hi Chaos. :) Have you ensured the new columns exist in Enterprise Custom Fields? If they do, you'll need to insert them in Project. If they do not, then perhaps a step or two may have been missed in implementation.

For scenario #4, can I create a project in Project Online from an already established plan in Planner? Also, after I sync, if I create tasks in Planner will it port over to Project Online?
@PPMWorks2 жыл бұрын
You can do this from Scenario 4, yes. The sync will work both ways once the connection is established, so both newly added tasks in Planner AND in Project will sync without one another if set to do so. Reach out to us at info@ppmworks.com if you're interested. We look forward to hearing from you!

When the sync is activated, if I create a new task in a bucket in Planner, will I see you the same in Project?
@PPMWorks3 жыл бұрын
You will if two-way sync is enabled. If you have any questions, drop us a line at info@ppmworks.com.

Hello Team, How do I check which type of license I am using for Project Online ?
@PPMWorks2 жыл бұрын
You can check the license by opening up Project on your computer then clicking "Account" on the bottom left hand side. You should see the Subscription information on the Account screen. If you want more detailed information click "Manage Account" under Subscription Product then click "Subscriptions" until you see a list of all the subscriptions that are assigned to you.

@@PPMWorks Thank you for the reply. But I think the process illustrated above is for Project Stand alone and not project Online. I am unable to locate the "Account" button in my Project Online version even on the App Launcher as well. Also, I am looking for Information to integrate Blogs, Events, announcements and discussion Board with Project Online. Please provide any KZbin Links for the same, if possible
@PPMWorks2 жыл бұрын
Hi Varun, you can access your account here: portal.office.com/account and go to subscriptions. As for integration, not sure what you are trying to integrate with. Email us at info@ppmworks.com and we can see if we can point you in the right direction.
