Ma'am, I was having a doubt in this trick. Can we apply the trick for quadratic equations which we can factorize? For example, y= x^(2) - 97x + 2352 , where the roots are 48 and 49. But because it is a pretty lengthy equation, it will take time to solve. Therefore, I was wondering, if the trick is applicable to factorizable quadratic equations too?
