I got my Llewellyn this morning and it's stunning. I was worried it would be too clichéd but it's not. It's so sweet. Love the magician card too. Very beautiful. Thank you. You're an excellent teacher.

Well I want to. I use theese legendes in my work with children! Thank jou very much for showing it to me. I use A from of A tarot deck I made myself thrue the jear, I had no idea that it was A sort of A self-formatted tarot deck.🐝🤗👌I am very happy now!

I love and own both these decks. Llewellyn is my home deck as it was the first tarot I ever owned. For a long time I debated over Arthurian because the art style is less refined and I wasn’t sure about it, however when I did finally get it I fell in love with it too!! Anna-Marie creates atmospheric artwork that really draws you in and to me, it reads very clearly. Her writing and the way she ties the legends reflects that as well. I have an old version of Llewellyn so I’m wondering how it compares to the new one-card stock and image quality, etc... I would definitely love more videos on these two decks-Whatever topics you want to explore!! Thanks for making this comparison ☺️💗💗💗🃏🃏

Thank you Rachel. I feel swept away in these decks. They may be the inspiration for a very long, slow journey through Wales and other parts of the UK. I'm not sure on the cardstock. The quality is definitely there.

I just found this hard to obtain deck on Poshmark. ! I bought the large companion guide on Amazon. Love that both decks share painterly style and are as well individual tone from one another. The Llewellyn does have some bluish toned cards in a couple of the suits. I LOVE the borders for each deck. Thank you for a spectacular review!

Very nice video! I thought I really wanted to dive into the Arthurian deck, but since it is out of print and not available for less than 300 euros i made an exception and got a reprint... Hope it arrives soon and that maybe some day they will wanna print it again officially!

So happy to have found your video! I was given the Legend the Arthurian Tarot boxed set as a gift many years ago, and it was one of only two decks I owned for a very long time. I recently ordered the Llewellyn Tarot, not even realizing it was by the same artist! I can’t wait for it to arrive in the mail so I can compare and contrast these two beautiful decks in person, and study the guidebooks.

Lucky you! That is a journey I will definitely undertake when I have a whole summer to meander around the UK. The Arthurian is silver, the artwork is busy, it feels a bit cold AND it reads well. For many of the cards I still refer to the details of the legend in the guidebook. They invariably draw me in. I've been working with the Llewellyn longer and there are fewer legends to learn (22 vs 78). Sometime I wish there was more to the minors in the Llewellyn. However, many of them have a slight spin on a RWS interpretation, which I have enjoyed. Also, I love the feel of the trimmed little cards in my hands.

Do you feel that the Empress is more related to the horned one in this deck than the emperor? I see the Empress as mother (Gaia) and emperor as father or does she fit better with the horned one as they come together to replenish the earth?
