We don’t live in Utopia, we either live in the UK or the EU, both well known for their honesty and never ever fibbing, or being lame ducks.

A former minister here as just been condemned to 10 years of effective jail time, he might appeal it, he might avoid going to jail for another 6 months, but to condemn a person to such a direct sentence, a judge would never do that if there was a shred of doubt the penalty was adequate to the crime. He favored friends and received kickbacks, in businesses with the state, in the UK it would be the so called "VIP lane". Think about it. During the last 2 or 4 months the President himself was investigated in another matter, he was questioned in the manner our Constitution says the President is investigated, he spoke, and was more than candid in saying what happened, and how he, himself, severed relations with his SON that is, apparently, involved in the matter, that is basically favoring people in receiving expensive medical treatment in our NHS. The latter is all under investigation but the president as been fully cleared of any wrong doing, had there been even a doubt he would have done what the former PM. Costa, did, cease functions and call elections, and the latter, Costa, as since been also cleared of all suspicion. This is how a normal democracy works, ALL politicians, all people in government, the guy in the cafe, the girl in the supermarket teller, all can be investigated, that is a sign of a working democracy, the issue here is, what happens in the UK? Commissions, interviews before there is even a police investigation, tampering with testimonies and evidence, no method to police investigation, no meritocracy system, politicians able to twist and turn the truth to fit their purposes, people getting away with anything, even murder I suspect, and being sure that a person with enough money and power will always get away with whatever wrong they do. Here money only gets you one thing, good lawyers, and money to appeal decisions and delay the inevitable, but one day or another, you will get the axe, out of memory I remember a city hall mayor that spent about 2 years delaying a decision, until one day, before the warrants for his arrest were issued, he presented himself to jail to serve 6 years of jailtime. He was also banned from ever serving in a public office, he can try to do it, but the Administrative Elections Court will always deem him unfit for office. Starmer is lying, he is promising things he cannot provide, and the only change in not having the Tories in power is to, in my opinion, have politicians that will HAVE to be pragmatic, they will have to cut the size of the State, end things like Rwanda and barges, ask for the aid of France and the EU to deal with the immigrant crisis that is a non crisis that only exists because the Tories do not process people and allow the ones that can stay to stay, and deport, on the UKs payroll and no one else's, the ones they do not want to allow in the UK. But these lies of Starmer will come back to bit him in the future, reason why, in my humble opinion, he should just be honest and tell the public what will happen, that the low taxes, high standard of living, rich society is gone. The UK will have to cut services, raise taxes, nationalize services, and apply a wide range of equivalent standards to its business model to fit the EU model. Simple as that, there is no other way, the UK will produce and sell as the EU does to have the less possible friction in market, and it will have NO SAY in the matter. The EU, the US, other major markets, they will decide, and the UK will follow, it wont say it is following, but it will do it, why? Because the UK as to do it in order to survive. Lies, only lead to more lies until you hit the wall known as reality, and then you either correct yourself or you stay back there banging your head in the wall until you get knocked down to the ground. So to any Brit unless you are are Scottish I would say vote tactically in order to remove as many Tory seats from Parliament as you can, and after the elections are done, begin, immediately, to organize yourselves and petitioning non stop for PR.
