Amazon ($1 million); AT&T Bank of America; Charter Communications ($1 million); Coinbase ($1 million); Ford ($1 million); General Motors; Goldman Sachs; Intuit ($1 million); Stanley Black & Decker ($1 million); Toyota ($1 million); and Uber ($1 million, plus another $1 million from its CEO)," writes Rolling Stone. "Meta, the parent company of Facebook, is giving $1 million. The powerful drug lobby Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers, or PhRMA, is kicking in $1 million, as is Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI."
The Washington Post and Amazon owner, who’s less than two weeks removed from dramatically blocking his newspaper from endorsing Kamala Harris, wrote that Trump had completed “an extraordinary political comeback.”

Cheers🍻 I think the best way to get amazon to clear up its act is if the workers could host an international strike of sorts, no one too drive, no one to deliver, and no one to package the items, sure you couldn't get every single person to go on strike, but you could get the majority I think, especially if it's something that people are doing in many countries. The public would start to shop elsewhere due to longer waiting times and delays. Places like Ebay and Etsy would be very happy for a while, and then Jeffy boy would have to do something. Then again, amazon is one of those jobs many people in difficult circumstances get for a while to pay the bills, due to low requirements (generally speaking) so maybe the second they go on strike, new workers would immediately flood in, I do think that has been the case in the UK, or at least so I have heard, but it's worth a shot, things are getting ridiculous.

American here. While I can not speak for all of us who DID NOT vote for #45, I can feel every word of your frustration as there are more of us truly concerned about the direction this country is heading. Watching all of these rich people freely giving away the money we spent to help them get to where they are is appalling! If us lower income people weren't so afraid of going to jail for failing to pay our taxes we most certainly would stop paying because we're not being taken care of in the way these politicians "promise" to and yet the wealthy gets away with it all the time!! They are the ones who are the beneficiaries of our taxes! Most of us would absolutely love to boycott the big corporations like Amazon, but when money is tight and the only place to find a specific item at an affordable price is that company then that's why they get to stay in business. I, personally, have not spent that much time shopping at Amazon 'cause I've been able to find my bargains on the FB marketplace, but I know plenty of people who are addicted to receiving those smiley faced packages.🤦 A lot of us want to leave this land to escape the madness but are stuck here. The best we can do is relocate to a less maddening place within our country. That doesn't mean we can escape it though.🤷

Both had 4 year terms that ended violently (obviously not in the same way) They both made aponitments that were a test of party loyalty as much as anything else (so Kash Patel is the equivalent of horse being put into office) Caliguia means "little boots" it's not the actual name of that caesar. trump of course has been called tiny hands/tiny fingers. I have tried looking up what mittens are called in Latin, German (his actual parental lineage) and Swedish (his claimed lineage) but no alternative nickname seems to work as good as tiny fingers. They both had phoney wars. Caliguia ordered his troops to battle the sea or river (I can't rember which, but it is in Suetonius) and trump is threatening the Panama canal and tariff related trade wars. We can only hope that tiny fingers's next 4 year term does not reflect furher similarities to Caliguia.

There are many parallels between brexit and MAGA2. Both were driven by varied factions and both began with basic aims and planned a route to those aims, but without speaking with other parties and without considering the impact and reactions to the route taken to those aims and their implementation. Both planned on the assumption that other parties and ideologies would either modify or just fall into place. Both are autocratic by nature, disadvantaging the poor and serving the wealthy. Brexit has achieved its core stated aim, but the consequences and route there have forced many to re-think their stance on the EU. Other that that the UK is no longer in the EU, nobody could honestly state that brexit has gone according to plan and without problem or serious, unforeseen consequences. The same will be true of MAGA2, and like brexit, the wealthy will be largely unscathed (some will increase their wealth), while the poor and less well off will bear the brunt of the inevitable fallout and damage.
