I just received mine in the mail, and I was immediately floored by her beauty. ❤️🥰❤️She's my first African American Poppy and I couldn't be happier to own her. 🥳I know the skin tone swap was controversial because Poppy doesn't have AA facial features, but I like that she is like Barbie in that she can be anything. The outfit is the most darling in my collection. ✨👗✨ It's based on Mia Farrow in "A Dandy in Aspic" (1968).

I am African American young woman and a doll collector and honestly the fact that it was controversial is CRAZY because she looks like me ! I’m glad IT made this move. I’m happy to have her in my collection And I am African American! ( lots of African American women have facial features like poppy. We just don’t get representation.
