Just a huge thank you to you both for the exceptional coverage of thé IT Legendary 2020 virtual convention! Watched all 3 in one sitting and have to say love watching your performances! Picture is truly worth a thousand words....lol..!! Sadly, think 2021 may have to be a virtual again just for timing reasons, but we’ll see..! Am a first time W Club member (as of yesterday) and loving everything I’ve seen so far, looking forward to much to come.. a 30 year Platinum Barbie Fan Club collector but Mattel’s been off point so not sure about that..! The hair style like Ayumi hair is called Himecut. Hime means Princess in Japanese. Usually Japanese Princess has that kinda hair style :) BTW as you guys told before i love black and goth style, so i’m so satisfied to this conv. except style lab lol

1. I've said for ages that I wouldn't mind them moving back into a playline space and/or having an affordable line again ala Dynamite Girls - as that was my own gateway - but do agree collectors would be hard on them about it so balancing that would be tricky. The original ITBE dolls from years past were skinny boxed dolls in simple outfits/dresses that were articulated and skin tone variants of other sculpts for under/around $100 so I wouldn't mind that again?? 2. I adore Eugenia but not this one and I think what doesn't work for me vs. Sooki is that she is all black with no real texture or coloring variation. Sooky has black, white and grey in different ways and different textures so she's more dynamic while Eugenia is too tone on tone for me (mainly the makeup. Why not integrate dark maroon or something for the lips for example?) so I was disappointed in her greatly and traded her for another doll with a friend 3. Ayumi is cute but I do agree that her hair/bang style - called a hime cut/hime bangs - can be tricky to pull out as far as scale and amount in the shorter bang portion & truthfully would rather have straight across bangs without them. The outfit was fine for a giveaway but doesn't really hold a candle to the original 'Miracle Child' look and I do wish her lipstick or hair was different shade wise. But for 'free' I'm excited for her and to see her in person (and have practically traded the dress away already) whenever we get her 3a. Do you think she'll pop up before mothership Dania?? LOL 4. Speaking of Dania - the centerpiece is gorgeous. I'm glad they boxed her with the gloves in and she'll definitely redress well so she's beautiful to behold. 5. Everyone indeed was gagged that this old new face was the convention doll - I think it's pronounced 'Ah-meh-leen' - and I was personally bummed she wasn't a doll I myself could grab. It would be super quick for us to get a 3rd Aymeline so quick but I wouldn't mind something made to order during dolly days!! 6. In general I'm not a big Agnes fan but with her everywhere I was at least intrigued about this con mascot but again - no no no. She'll be legendary or a grail for some because she's Agnes but I don't think it would be the case if this same styling and clothes were given to a different character. I'm glad everyone who likes her will get the opportunity to purchase tho. 7. After going to an event this size is safe again (personally speaking, you won't see me trying to go to one in person before 2022 and/or until the next year after a working vaccine is out/distributed) I think they can split the difference of offering people a digital experience via upgrade dolls and keeping the club lunch and main ticket as perks for in person?? 8. For what I paid - the upgrade doll and club lunch tickets - I feel satisfied but also get how paying more would feel less so, especially with the delays they're experiencing due to covid complications and not everything being in stock at the same time. People will be getting dolls from them the rest of the year it seems which could be fun in a way but we'll see. 9. Convention favorite dolls: *All of NuFace *Upgrade Adele *the Style Lab dolls for Adele, Isha, Kyori & Vanessa, style lab fashions for Vero, Isha, Natalia * Isabella * Amyelyne * and Dania Thanks for the honest, extensive time!! looking forward to your next videos ;D

Thank you so much for your input on all three days! The essential nuface collection is kinda an evolution of the ITBE line but even those are getting too expensive. Definitely agree that with your favorite picks. Dania in particular is very luxe and her fabric feels amazing in person. Can't wait for next year's convention. -Sang

I think a new play line from Integrity would be interesting if it was more pop culture focused like the Sookie doll but you two are right that the market is very competitive and the original Integrity play line was not that easy to find; a lot of stores simply didn't carry them. The Ayumi is cute but I wish she had a sharp Sassoon style bob and I want a Aymeline so bad but they're outrageously expensive on Ebay right now. I like some Agnes dolls but I'm on the fence about this anniversary doll. Agnes is one of those sculpts that I often end up waiting to see what she'll look on other people's pages. I get the disappointment with the virtual convention, especially with the steep price and the shipping delays people are experiencing. Hopefully, a physical convention of some sort will be possible next year.

A mainline Aymeline would be amazing. A lot of collectors have voiced that they want her. Hopefully Jason is willing to share her with the rest of her fans. Jessy took a nice picture of Agnes on instagram, hopefully it'll drive up sales of her. We'll see if she's worth it in the end. Yes! When it's safe to do so, a physical convention is ideal. -Sang

I loved a lot of the dolls in this con, and grateful this happened at all, although still waiting on my dolls is torture. The original dates of the convention were on Halloween, which explains some of the goth dolls.

Yes, grateful we had one at all this year. IT worked really hard to make this possible. And makes sense with all the gothic dolls. I can only imagine how amazing it would have been to see them displayed in person on halloween at the convention. -Sang

I think it’s okay as to what face sculpt they use on the materials because it’s a side profile (almost) it’s a great sculpt, it’s their trademark, it’s legendary! The surprises were fun, provoking a reaction!

You did a fenomenal job of revisiting those days and some of the most popular reactions on what happened during the final day of the convention!!.. I don’t know about the play line dolls… That market is very competitive.. and with dolls rising prices lately probably they are not that cheap to make as it used to be. I do remember how Dynamite Dolls used to be almost the same quality as the other pricier lines.. (and I guess that’s why they were ended it).. About Amelie.. She is gorgeous.. in both incarnations.. I am so happy I will get the Diana Ross inspired doll.. I missed the Luncheon ticket so there is a lot i regret!!! for example that Ayumi.. I really liked that doll. The moment I see her (leaked) I were like: This is Guaranteed Chic fashion from Modern Pompadour Collection!! and that as a grail for me back then!! Now about the experience… Being an international collector and never been on a Doll Convention (at all).. let me tell you something.. This was a blast!!. It worth every penny. Getting like 4 dolls for 500, a chance to buy plenty of exclusive dolls (that if you are not able to get from convention, have to pay reseller prices and they are escalating even more with every year).. and living the experience was really amazing. Honestly I am down with virtual conventions!!! Or at least that IT could explore an extra mini (or big???) virtual convention.. Again thanks for sharing your thoughts.. I know this is a lot of work.. so Bravo!!👏👏👏

I would love for them to bring back the dynamite girls. I know the Industry line is kinda a return of them but they are too high fashion to me. I miss the cute street clothes DG had. I'm glad you were able to attend! It was great IT was able to include international collectors who would normally not attend a physical convention. It was overall a great experience. @@ToyChat Sounds great!1 and yes i LOVE Dinamite girls, probably not from the start (they were kinda cartoony for me) but when they made them new face-molds and update the screenings (and the fashions were pack with options and accessories) I were in heaven.. during those years I were almost collecting them, because they were super cool.

Wow. We have the same thoughts about everything. I totally agree. BTW, Im not so sure if you feel the same way with Legendary status Agnes. She was never I expected like i was shocked.. First I thought that her outfit would be the same color used on her background as the face of the convention. But No!! i dont understand why jessy would put a yellow fabric on a crystalized mini dress??? I just hope that that yellow thing is removable. Also the color play is so Odd!! Purple yellow and white??? And another downer is her face screening is not the same colors as the promo pic ( the one in the stand and box) its a disappintment because I love that color and it appears its different... Another one is her hairstyle!!! Its the same as fame and fortune vanessa but without the side bangs... Iim dissapointed over all.. Made me think why this doll was delayed and never showed during the convention.. Maybe they tried to restyle her.. Also made to order? Means shes not yet being produced so i really thought she was supposed to be redesigned..... I think i can still make her better by switching the accessories.. Remov8ng that hideous yellow fabric and change her hairstyle... I can also give her a white faux fur jacket like the same feel as the blondes blonde Diamond barbie with the white fur and pink lining... Or maybe give her the white fur that sizzlingning in Paris have...... I mean that crytalized dress with crytalized srockings would look with a fur cover. Not a yellow fabric I hope we hear your opinion about her.

Great minds think alike ;) haha. Jessy took a photo of Agnes on his Instagram, she looks a lot closer to the first promo image of her. Unfortunately it doesn't look like the yellow is removable. Since I only could get a W Club Lunch ticket, I was happy with Eugenia. I didn't feel so bad not being able to get Sooki (secondary market prices seem really insane this year). Agnes is one of IT's most popular characters and she always sell out and retain high value. Not surprised she was the doll to represent the anniversary year. Hopefully she'll look amazing in person. I don’t like The Agnes sculpt in general but I’m in the minority of loving her outfit...not altogether but I think the gown on someone with a deeper tone it’ll sing! And the Pantaboot will be great casual and street style...Agnes herself I could care less about.

Maybe it’s the old goth girl in me, but I LOVE Eugenia and the other girls. Give me a good “dark” themed outfit and makeup; it’s the only monochrome look I like. Sadly, I’ll have to hope to snare her on the secondary market.

I like the gothic girls this year. Intimate Soiree Agnes has really grown on me and Sooki is a gem. I'm sure I'll love Eugenia in person too. This is my least favorite IT convention. the only the doll I like is erin and eden. The rest are a Nah for me... Some of them I only 50% like.. That final doll Agnes was a major flop... I wonder why they did not show her design during the convention. Maybe they dont like it too

I think these dolls would've made a bigger impact if we could have experienced them in person and taken our own photos of them. That photo of Agnes might have been taken months in advance to be able to get her on all the packaging and material. Hence why her clothes weren't ready. -Sang

Didn't like the one doll. Face looked sad or sour, hated straight chopped off hair, didn't like outfit. I can see why they didn't use her at the convention. Sorry.
