Agree with so many of the points you made! Tip for getting the sunglasses to fit better: carefully bend the eye piece at the nose bridge so that it has a slight curve inward around the doll face. It’ll angle the loose arms to have a close fit. Also, for janky flocking you can contact IT patient care and ask for a replacement. If the issue isn’t too terrible they might deny you but it’s worth asking and sending multiple pics with your request.

Thanks for the tip. I personally don’t usually put sunglasses on my dolls with lashes due to the fear of ruining their lashes. And we are probably gonna contact patient care with a few defective dolls. They are using pretty helpful-Sang

I enjoy the whole collection. I wish jasper had ... less forhead, but i still like her and her outfit is super cute and the easiest to mix and match with for my other dolls. Im going to try and add to her hairline.

I never put the sunglasses on my dolls, the glasses are just a mess, they need to make the whole thing plastic. Hollis’ face I found a bit mature compared to the rest of them.

So, I've kind of felt like this for a while, but... do Integrity Toys dolls need a storyline? Does anyone literally care about all of that? Can they not just release dolls in outfits? Is that "too boring", even though the product is meant for grown adults?

I think a storyline can help give more character to a doll. Most humans are story-oriented, in one form or another. However, I find it doesn’t work as well with IT because they have many different lines and numerous characters. I have been collecting IT for 3 years, and I don’t know about older characters, and I don’t care that much. To me an overall theme for a collection is more important than specific characters.

I think the stories can be cute and agree with the above comment that they give more character to a doll, but I think part of the problem is that the IT stories live almost exclusively in emails that a lot of people don’t read in full…myself included, since IT emails are walls of text enough as it is lol. 😅 There’s no series, show, or content much outside the dolls themselves to actually follow these stories. Which yes, makes them feel not entirely necessary. If they included story cards with the dolls, like they used to and did again more recently in Maison FR, I think it might increase interest in this. -Max
